How do you guys feel about Halo: Infinite’s weapon spawn points?
The weapon layout and palette for each map seems to be completely different each and every game, even among the same game mode. Why? Who thought it would be a good idea to replace the sniper for the skewer or move the BR spawn, swap what powerup appears on the map or replace the sicknasty forerunner shotgun for the pathetic bulldog ““shotgun””? I’m not certain but I feel like even the equipment gets moved around often. If a player can’t load into a map and know everything will be exactly the same as the last time they played on it then you’ve failed the player, you’ve failed level design and most importantly: you’ve failed to make a proper Halo game.
At best, this seems like a frustrating and lazy way to ‘increase the game’s replayability’ thought up by someone who doesn’t understand a thing about games or their audience.
I’m enjoying the game so far but this is one of the seemingly small things that majorly bug me.
