Is anyone else concerned that 343i is going to leave loose story lines out in the wind? Just like Halsey and the Janis key or Blue team reuniting and composing the Didact. I know they story is out there in the fiction, but I feel these story lines should have been covered in games. Each could have been done in a mission or two.
Don’t get me wrong I like the new direction 343i is going, my concern is that are they just going to move passed the Gaurdians and Cortana being a villain and wrap up that story in extended fiction? I could see 343i taking the Guardians out of the story. Like the pilot said “we lost”, but did the UNSC destroy the Guardians before the war was lost?
I am very concerned about the story direction of Halo. H4’s direction was solid. Halo 5 messed up the story badly, and I hope H6 can remedy the situation.
I remember hearing somewhere that 343 stated they will not be ignoring the story set up in H5. So I don’t think we have to worry about major plot points being left to the extended fiction. However, some small details might get left out in favor of moving forward with a more simple, coherent, and self-contained story.
I don’t think they will, I have a feeling Cortana and the Guardians will play a very big role in Infinite.
Some closure would be nice but I kinda want 343 to hit the reset button to be honest.
