I feel like a lot of people are forgetting or ignoring that Infinite’s multiplayer is still technically in beta. This isn’t the whole multiplayer. I’m pretty confident that, upon the release of the full game on December 8, the full selection of modes, maps, and various other fixes will come in an update. The battle pass situation won’t probably change much, but I think there’s more content we haven’t seen yet that could change how we view the battle pass and everything else about Infinite.

Perhaps the exact purpose of the β is to solicit further feedback, for which this forum plays a useful role?

That’s a fair point. It just seemed like people were acting as if this is the final said and done product, which it isn’t exactly the case. It is still important for people to express their critiques of the game asap so that the changes can come sooner.
I hope you are right. I am sure there will be tweaks and improvements made throughout the lifecycle of the game. I do not expect more content at the official launch; maybe bug fixes and balance patches.
Honestly it feels that so many developers label what is essentially their final product as a “beta” these days, just so that it will always have that baked in excuse for any criticism. Perhaps it is the fanboys leaning on that defence, more than the devs, anytime you criticise their favourite game. It is stil frustrating though. It shuts down discourse.

Hey, if they feel they can charge $20 for an ok armor set then I lose all sympathy for “it’s a beta”.

They released it literally 3 mere weeks before the actual freaking release. You best believe in those three weeks there won’t be a significant amount of change.

They put beta on their so they can deflect any criticism for a few weeks.
The armor color pallets and the emblems are definetly beta. Hope it changes when the game releases. If not then I will not be buying the game nor will alot of my friends. I suggest everyone else does this unless they give the players what they want.
I agree a lot of people are complaining and forgetting it is a beta but that doesn’t mean their lots of hidden contact behind a magic wall, sadly beta as we know from playing others are pretty close to the final product and this one I am sure isn’t far from the truth. this is for them to get feedback from their core fanbase and I think it is good people are saying what they want to see changes.
