Infinite's game popular so small, I notice the same players every day

I really hope one day, these servers grow again. I started recognizing the same names I see in BTB, and 4v4 matches started from each match, to every other day, to about every week. Its like those are the committed players to Infinite, and all the new players with he “1” emblem are just the come and goes with nothing actually to do.

Yeah I’ve been seeing the same bunch of names in custom games as well. The community is small but passionate. Season 3 will probably boost the player count somewhat.

I wonder if the custom player base is differetn to the ranked player base… even though I love forge, I don’t actually play custoims that much because most of my halo buddies don;t really play custom.

They have to be. I touched BTB for 3-4 weeks straight without touching 4v4 slayer. I thought i was pretty good on BTB. I decided to go to 4V4 yesterday and all the sudden I was getting wiped out left and right by sweats everywhere.

Customs probably are filled with clans and forge builders and discord servers maybe.

i think you can better give up the hope for something like this that the server population will grow again.

since there have screw so much up last year and not have fix a lot off core problems it still has that most people are not comming back at all anymore.

not forget that halo infinite has the worst reputation from any halo game at all.
most off it is not fixing the problems good, the seasons are to long, the contant flow is crap, the playlist system is wrong, and the trust level in the game and development company is so low that people have lost there trust in it.

There have been worse. Star wars battlefront 2 was really bad, No Man’s sky was actually real awful, it took over two years to get recognition again.

Relatively MCC was at an all time destroyed by bugs worst than Infinite and its doing much better in the latter.

The difference is MCC only had that time of being unplayable because the launch date was a year before Halo 5 launched, not enough time to fix the issues. However after Halo 5 support was done 343 went back to fix MCC, the problem is now the game is crashing so frequently it is almost unplayable.

Things that I think will help grow the community again.

  1. It starts with US. We have to be resilient and keep playing the game through all of the ups and downs and continue to give honest feedback.
  2. 343i needs to seriously upgrade the servers, it should be priority #1 IMO.
  3. Core Playlists need to be added.(Infection, Griffball, Firefight, Warzone etc.)
  4. the User Interface needs an overhaul, its not very ecstatically pleasing at all IMO.
  5. Movement mechanics Buffs/Nerfs and Weapon Buffs/Nerfs. This game is just to much Sprint/Slide and certain Weapons aren’t performing very well IMO.
  6. Sandbox needs an overhaul.
  7. Steady Content needs to be added and the Shop needs an overhaul.
  8. Customs Games Browser needs an overhaul
  9. The game is missing Vehicles and Weapons that should be in the game.
  10. 343i Needs to apologize and reassure the supporters/fans that they hear us and that things will change.

and 11. I still think that 343i needs to consider an Open World environment where the Players can interact with each other and Play through DLC and Expansion campaigns with our own created Spartans, not a lackluster Campaign with 3 other Master Chiefs. This will bring people back new and OG alike. It will give us something OTHER THAN PVP. The Halo Universe needs to desperately expand to something MORE THAN JUST PVP, imo…

  • I also forgot to mention Clans and Player Progression. Again, Clans will bring people together again and Progression will allow players to track how far they have come.

  • Scoreboards at the end of the matches need to be fixed… It is very deflating to me if I go 30-5 in a BTB match and we get the win and at the end of the match my name is at the bottom of the list… It literally makes no sense and sometimes I cut the game off after seeing that. It just rubs me the wrong way…

  • ONE OF MY BIGGEST GRIPES and MOST IMPORTANT TO ME, PUT PLAYER COLLISION BACK IN HALO!!!

but the diffrend between MCC launch and halo infinite is that back then with MCC there have accept that it was broken on launch day and thats something there not have done with halo infinite.

but there have not screw up a full year with scraping the broken promice’s and not listing to the feedback from the communety or fixing the problems good.
the point from start wars battlefront 2 was more there business model that has screw a lot up from the game so chance the business model is what there have done to restore something is still not worse then what halo infinite has.
and both off then are Pay to Play game’s and not have a F2P multiplayer at all.

I thought this at first but I’m starting to think it isn’t as small as I thought it was and it’s just matching us with the same players over and over as we are so similar in skill.
