Infinite weapon sandbox: Too convoluted and unbalanced?

Been playing a lot of Infinite lately and feel like there are way too many new weapons and the balancing makes absolutely no sense. Feels like there are way too many new weapons and the range/TTK/damage just aren’t adding up.

Thoughts?

Main design philosophy seems to be zero redundancy=best sandbox. Infinite probably has the least redundancy out of any Halo game ever made, which is insane. I personally think that’s a horrible design choice that old timers kept asking for because they didn’t like newer guns. Like seriously… What game on the market doesn’t have tons of redundant weapons? What evidence shows that it hurts games? I find the design philosophy to be extremely detrimental to player choice and the overall potential of the MP.
