no my guy it took them six months to drop this many players, Inf is by far the worst halo game to date, its comparable to COD’s Infinite warfare , which actually had a far better story than most ppl give it credit for, (i cant say the same for this halo), but the MP side was abysmal, with to few maps, rampant microtransactions, and a small lackluster weapon pool,
and then they play it for hours a day every day, so they’re not saying its a bad game by any stretch of the imagination
i mean its their job more or less, so yeah they are going to play it, do you think ppl that work at call centers aren’t bored of talking on the phone, they do it because they are payed to do it
they could easily go back to MCC or H5, they’re choosing to stick it out with Infinite because they know that’s the future of the series
no they are sticking with infinite, because that is where the top tournament money is, and with out all of the other massive list of issues infinite is the closest to H3 343 has ever made tho it still pales in comparison
Halo 4 went from over a million players online at the same time to 800K in a month.
Halo 5 was knocked out of top 10 most played in a month.
Infinite lost over 200K in 2 months on steam, realistically it has lost even more players.
All games lose a tone of players after the first few months. Most people have lives, they play a game when it’s new then go back to focusing on work and family instead of playing 24/7. This nothing ground breaking.

Over 3.6 million copies of Halo 4 were sold on day one. Over 5 million in week 1. Do the math.
Infinite is a free to play game. So yeah it’s gonna be the biggest whatever out of things.
hmm i see, you’re basing this argument off of sales, did you take into account that some ppl bought multiple copies to sell again or so that they could make machinima?
and going by precents, that’s only 20% unlike Inf’s near 90%
How may people do you think were re-saleing a copy of Halo 4? That game is not and was not hard to find in a store and you could download it from the Xbox market place.
How many people do you think do machinima? It’s not a lot and would not make a dent in the 3.5 or 5 mill figure.

Let’s not forget that first you claimed that inf is unanimously the worst (343) Halo game, objectively it is not due to it’s user rating being higher than 4 and 5. You ignore that and say “well Halo 4 and 5 did not lose 250k players in 2 months,” when in reality they lost that many in a month alone just like most games do. Now we are playing by percentages (of steam). Point is, moving goal posts is fun and if you move it enough times you can score a point.
In total, after 3 months Inf has more players and holds a higher spot in the “Top played Xbox games” than Halo 5. I’d call that, doing better than the last game.
It’s fine if you liked 4 and 5. It’s fine that you don’t like infinite. It’s clear your memory of those games paint a better picture in your mind compared to how they stacked up in actuality.
okay so why dont you just say you are a 343 doing damage control on the forums, i’ve seen you criticize them maybe 3 times total.

If you’re out, you’re out. You don’t have to reply within minutes if you are out.
It has more potential then any game I’ve played rlly. It just needs that content. Maps, a mode or two, and a progression system outside what we have now. Spartan rank and stats. I want to see my stats.
Overall it’s fun. But it’s the same exact experience every time I boot up a game and play a match.
