Hello,
I am a bit puzzled as to why there is no Boxer controller layout that is select-able. I understand that you are able to change the layout to your preferences, it just doesn’t seem to make sense when every other game before Infinite has had it as an option.

I literally just made my custom settings to be as close to boxer as possible. Glad to know there is at least three of us OG boxer players! 
one more vote for Boxer layout
They can’t keep us OG Boxers down. I’ve set my controller layout as boxery as i can

What’d you set your secondary zoom (ie sniper 2x zoom) too? That’s my only issue I have with my custom layout.

I didn’t even realize I need to map a second zoom button… One more flaw with this game. What was wrong with double click right for x2 zoom.
Found the same issue not having the Fishstick, I use an Elite controller and I changed a lot of buttons, I have a profile for FPS games with the button change already placed so I use Fishstick because it is the layout that every other FPS use, had to manually change some buttons to out it like Fishstick.
And I think that Fishstick should totally be in the options because it is the layout every other shooter use, CoD, Battlefield, etc, etc, so it would be the logical choice for the newcomers, don’t know why they removed it.

That’s what I did as well. So glad for custom button mapping in this game. A little annoying to have to recreate a classic, but it does the job in my opinion.

I’m sure I’ll have things to fix down the line. But custom is a life saver. The default layout is NOT for me. I can play default for most games. But Halo is different. Boxer or bust.
We should all start a clan called the “Bax Cutters.” One, because it’s punny. And two, because I’m lonely and don’t want to play the Flight alone.
I was so sad to not see boxer as a choice I was able to somewhat make my own but that was just very disheartening to see them not include boxer anymore I hope it’s included in the Full release

Same that’s the only thing I didn’t Set to the controller and I have a feeling that’s gonna be the issue come full release if they don’t add boxer as a choice
This might be the biggest disappointment of the whole release. Did you guys forget about the claw ? We have ruined our hands for halo, atleast let us keep our settings
