In post-game stats, deaths shows as “beat your usual” when you have more deaths than usual. This doesn’t make sense for deaths, where your goal is to have less.
while I can understand and respect the choice to include battle passes, I’d really like some challenges/achievements that unlock certain cosmetics (that aren’t buyable/earnable through the battlepass.) One of the great things about Halo is achieving things, and it’d be nice to be rewarded for that.
Also, quickload armor presets would be nice. So I could switch my Spartan’s armor between a few different ones depending on the mood.
My battle pass stopped progressing right after i complete all the weekly challenges. I was stuck with 350 pts to level 7.
I uninstalled and reinstalled, which solved this issue.
As of today, when I’m writing this the AI BUTLR doesn’t look like himself but looks like a grid with squares all over him and when I have other AIs selected he ends up voicing over my matches instead of other AIs.
The UI is confusing, menus within menus, the small tick box to equip something seems really bizarre. The tick box is visible but to tick it you have to click into it, then tick it, then back out. Do we need that extra sub menu? Can that information not be shown on the previous screen?
I have to say a Destiny style UI would work really well here.
The weapons training, does that need to be 20 menus? It would be nice if you could select difficulty inside the map and pick up the weapon rather than loading in and out.

all ive got to say really is;
it seems that when i close the game and reopen it the sensitivity is ALWAYS reset, and sometimes small elements of the UI is missing or arrives a bit late, and the matchmaking system is really not clear, alot of times i went to the loading screen then straight to menu no error screen nothin, also some suggestion and semi-complaint about the store; i really hope that credits are gainable by other nonpaid sources eventually, yknow just for the people who dont really have enough spare money to spend on the game freely making them stuck with the starting cosmetics forever (like me-), maybe like, after matchmaking all the stuff you did shown at the endscreen along with score is added to a total then given to you as credits or somethin
I’ll keep it short - Assists, the point system needs to be reworked, you get awarded the same amount for essentially a minor assist, compared to taking 99% of their health and someone getting the last hit, they get 100 pts, you get 50? Either points are based on the percentage of health you took, or 25pts for minor (1-33% health), 50 for assist (34%-66%) and 75 pts major assist (67%-99%)

> Trying to navigate through the customization menu has been… interesting. I often find myself going into sections that I don’t know how I ended up there or what there purpose is.
This sums up how I feel about the Ui and customization menus. Like if I keep clicking then maybe I’ll eventually get there! Also, selecting things in the armory (shoulder armor for example) requires me to press x in another menus to confirm after I already selected it? What?

Happened to me today on the 1st map where the bots rush flank on the left. I threw all my grenades then teammate cleaned up for the overkill. I think kills should be rewarded fully to whoever did it tho…as infuriating and unjust as it sometimes is for one of your own teammates. Btw I ended up with more kills than him in the end anyway.
Menu feel a bit too generic, and also more tabs would be interesting. There is maybe too many things that we need to click multiple times on multiple sub-menus just to see the whole thing on the screen.
For the in-game UI, medals are probaly a bit too small. As a result we don’t get the same satisfaction getting medals as in older Halos.
Under Accessibility you can change the color of the UI as it pertains to the enemy, however this affects all things from the enemy outline to the reticle and Shields.
If these could be separated you could have a red reticle and outline but a yellow shield effect, being the more old school look. This could also potentially make it easier to determine shield strength if you can choose a colour that is more ideal for you preferences.
Having the option for a separate colour for enemy overshields could also let players spot threats more easily, especially if the enemy Is under fire from another direction, thereby potentially making it harder to identify.
This could be applied to health/shield’s/overshield, with red highlights for a non shielded target, yellow for shielded and purple for overshield (with the option to customize).
Having separate opacity and colour slider for the reticle separately from the rest of the HUD could also be nice. The solid white makes it harder to track consecutive headshots (I’m looking at you “VK 78 Commando”), but setting HUD opacity to 0.1 to fix that makes the rest of the HUD too faint.
Having options to move around and or change the size of HUD elements would be very functional for players, I personally find the shield/health bar a bit too small to quickly decipher. We already have options to move the weapon types (the way we hold them) around the screen so HUD elements isn’t out of the realm of reason.
There is a bug where both “display margin” setting make the aiming reticle gradually disappear as the values increase, its more noticeable the bigger the reticle is. Its like an invisibilty curtain coming in from the left or top of the screen covering the reticle. Higher values make the reticle completely disappear.
Would love to have an option to change the position of some HUD elements like the radar or the killfeed.
The outlining of enemies and allies needs to go away. Or at the very least let us choose to turn it off. It’s not a good feel for halo and I hope we can either have it gone for good or get to pick to get rid of it.
For the battle pass we need to earn xp for our matches. Not just when we complete challenges. Unless the plan is to have unlimited challenges to complete each day then that’s fine but otherwise people will just complete the challenges for the day/week and then not be able to progress the battlepass by playing more and that sucks. We should be allowed to always progress just by playing the game. This also helps people who can’t log in every day to complete daily challenges. They could make up for it on other days where they can play more and so they dont feel like they miss out.
Alao do we earn cR at all or is that only buyable with real money? It should be able to be earned over time so if you see something in the store you really like you can buy it. It should be earned either by challenges or just performance in games.
Also we should be able to use more than 1 xp boost at a time. Not to boost the percentage gained, but to add two 30 min boosts to make an hr boost so I don’t need to remember to boost it again after 30 mins
Not sure that I’m a huge fan of the UI either. This was a step above H5 but not by much. Reach was probably the peak of UI for the games imo. Something like this would be much better.
The game score should be in a different position on the screen. Its bottom middle placement on the screen currently is hard to find at a glance and makes it hard to discern between the more important indicators in that area (ammo counter, minimap, etc.)

honestly i like the outlining of enemies and allies, it makes it much more obvious where the enemy is so that its less likely for you to get killed and only notice them when youre dead, but i think having it disablable and enablable is a pretty good idea, also yeah i agree xp should be gained from challenges and performance, and i really hope credits are gained by other means too
When it comes to the battle pass it normally has images shown and the background of the main menu area with your spartan is with a pelican. That’s how it’s supposed to be. Now imagine there are no images just different colours. One giant grey screen where your spartan normally is and the news feed area as just blue. Then the game loading is blackish. Sometimes while the game starts you’re supposed to see yours and your team’s spartans. Now sometimes it just sends me into the game missing it
The UI is kind of messy and not very interesting to look at. My favourite UI was Halo Reach, which included concept art and simple, easy top down menus, which were easily understandable and felt good to navigate. I think taking some inspiration from that game would work wonders here. I will say however, it’s miles better than Halo 5. So well done on that.

Yeah i can see how people would like the clarity. Especially since its no longer team colors it’s more customizable, but it still feels weird to me and i find it distracting and not very halo like. I really hope they let us choose whether to have it or not. You’re riggt it sucks getting killed by someone blending into the background but I feel like halo hasn’t really had problems with that ever before so im not to concerner about it if the outline was gone.
The Emblem customisation or lack thereof is disappointing. I’m hoping it’s just been left out of this flight because there is actually zero customisation as it stands. There’s about 20 emblems available, all with pre set colours. We’ve had this feature since Halo 2 and I can’t understand why it might have been removed?
