Never mind on part of it.

I just discovered what the second set of drills is, moving targets.

This training mode is so dang sick! I love the accessibility associated with it. Being able to choose what weapons and grenades you’re using, what difficulty of bots and how many, it’s fantastic. I loved being able to practice before hitting the social arena.

  • There were times where changes i made in the settings would not register, and I would have to go back multiple times before things would stick.
  • I’m getting the mixey grenade selection in the training arena. Regularly I believe the grenade selection is only associated with Campaign, but I was getting it here. It makes sense to just have the toggle/switch, especially when you can only carry two grenade types.
Otherwise i thought it worked well, and definitely served its purpose. I can’t wait to try it on bigger maps with vehicles.

there is a glitch to hit faster very quickly and there is a way to access parts of the game that are not available to the public yet

we can access weapons that are not accessible at the moment

Fantastic job with this! Halo has needed this for the past 20 years. It would be awesome if you could add FFA in bot arena

I really like it! Though, a reset button would be nice. Just a button that puts every player and pick up back at spawns.

Also, (and this is minor) I would not mind the option to change settings in the pre-game lobby.

Hi, thank you for choosing me 343, the test was carried out on XSX

The trainings mode is really nice to try out by really training with weapons against Bot the settings are nice.

Had an issue where I couldn’t pause the game mid match Or adjust settings and had to restart the game. Playing on Series X, the Mombasa map.

Oi pessoal. No segundo dia de -Yoink!- consegui jogar no modo de treinamento. Muito divertido. Descobri como usar gancho de grapping. Ótimo trabalho!! Bons jogos.

Go to controller settings and change back to default. You will be set to custom and the bindings are messed up.

Bot intelligence seems like an improvement from last time. Spartan bots are fun to play against! Quick suggestion for Bot AI: their stealth/camo intelligence needs a little work. I was playing in training mode on Live Fire with ODST bots. One of them picked up the camo (cool, I like that they do that) but then proceeded to just sort of… do nothing. It didn’t sneak around, didn’t go for stealthy back smacks, nothing. Honestly, “hid” would be the best way to describe it, which doesn’t make sense because IT’S INVISIBLE. I saw it as it decloaked, and it was just kind of staring at the ground in front of it, not three feet from the camo spawn.

Also, for the training mode as a whole, one suggestion I might have would be to be able to spawn objectives. The idea is to help newer players learn about the game, right? Well, it might be cool if you had the option to spawn in a pair of flags, for instance, so the player could practice CTF by themselves. Other than that and the toggle grenade issue that others have mentioned, I like the mode, and I’m glad you all are including it.

One thing I wanted to highlight that I’ve noticed through playing Training Mode is a difficulty seeing the area-of-effect for the Dynamo Grenade. It would be useful to have the electricity field more pronounced as I’ve noticed myself taking damage when I have thought I was out of range of the grenade.

Halo Infinite Preview 2: Xbox Series X

During training the training options menu will reset to an almost default state, the primary weapon is the BR. However it does not affect the game.

AI seem to get stuck occasionally, they just stand still for long periods of time, noticed it on Bazar in Palm Tree area below the stairs.

AI seem to get stuck on weapon pads/small adjustments in elevation of the surface, however they will eventually disperse when the player walks near them.

During training certain selected items for the loadout will appear once but after death they will unselect themselves from the loadout until the player reapplies the item to the loadout.

Only issue I’ve found is my wireless Xbox headset doesn’t seem to like the music loading in, it’s very pause start through the headset but fine on tv

training mode is not working for me, it keeps loading forever.
I’m playing on Xbox One og.

I wanted to add on to this. It would be nice to edit bot loadouts and disable map pickups. This way, I can set up more specific scenarios such as practicing my 1-on-1 sidekick fights or practicing reflecting back rocket shots with the repulsor.

i like the fact that your energy shield is red or blue depending on the team and thats new, but i know in fact some people are going to prefer the original yellow shield. i love that one as well. But a really good idea to put in a shield customization like in the armor customizing menu. where you can unlock certain colors or maybe keep it simple and have only like 3-5 colors to choose for your shield like the A.I or maybe you can do something to unlock the yellow shielding. other than that the game is running great. The plasma pistol is always a miss from mid range to far if the spartan is jumping or moving to quickly like sprinting even if you hit him spot on. you have to shoot ahead of time to have the plasma go in a straight line cause the chase function doesn’t seem to hit them. Another thing is having more options for armor customization like legs instead of just knees, like in the MCC version. It would be cool to customize leg and knee that would give the fans more unique ways to customize their spartan and love them more

  • Different armor shield cloak red/blue/OGyellow/green - Adding shield cloak customization menu to armor bay - Plasma pistol chase function inaccurate helps you miss - Adding a leg customization menu to armor bay - beginning matchmaking loading scenes of the map and Spartans do not show and stays on the loading screen until the game starts - menu ui flickers constantly during mid-game - punches sometime magnet you to miss - maps spawn weapon on walls way too quickly, if its meant to be like that thats fine too (my opinion, could be a good thing and a bad thing)

Feedback for training mode:
Absolutely fantastic addition to the game. Thank you. Very nice to have when getting back into Halo.
The bots are a work of art. great work on the bots, especially Spartan difficulty level. Exited to see the enemy AI in the campaign.

Some suggestions:
+On lower difficulty levels, It’d be nice to see the bots strafe side-side more to avoid damage. This is one of my main struggles with hitting real players while playing with a controller.
+Bots currently have zero personal space. Looks like they like to stay in clusters, and when they do, they often stand on top of eachother (is there even collision?). This makes them likely to end up dying from the same damage source, for example grenades.
+Please add Veteran and Legend difficulty levels eventually
+Please add “Sitting duck” and “zombie” difficulty levels (super easy bots that either stand still or walk around slowly) -just to train aiming with the new aim assist.
