> a little disgusted. Hopefully that’s because it’s a test, but I get behind a player, shoot him head-on, he turns around and finishes me off in a few balls. if we add to that the guys who crouch down with an anti-gravity hammer, those that I shoot with 2 chargers and who don’t fall … a little sad for me. 3rd parts and I’m already almost disgusted. limit I prefer the 5. halo fan since the 1st … the more it goes the less it goes. Is the crossplay then this is the pinnacle … in short … strongly that we test the BTB because if it is like that the 4 vs 4 bah I will not do it often … and it does not come from my co j have 400 mbits. good … I will have the countryside left. but at the moment it doesn’t make me want to buy a battle pass…:cold_sweat:

WHAT???

Sorry double post

:fire:PISTOL NEEDS MORE AIM ASSIST:fire:

I know that it’s meant to be a close range weapon but it’s very hard to aim even for a veteran player. If I turn my sensitivity down then I lose agility …even the slightest amount of aim assist would be nice!

I am still not sure what the ‘purpose’ of the Gravity Hammer is. It is very slow but has a bigger range than before and doesn’t lunge at all. Are you supposed to use it as a main weapon? Because its also very slow to change to from another weapon which makes it completely useless when you see someone on the radar and want to change to it especially with a radar of only 18m.

My complaints up until this point coming from a competitive player with high skill:

-The pistol seems fine to me however it’s a bit hard to get those finishing headshots with that little bloom so just like in Reach it’s better to pace your shots.

-The AR seems overpowered (or maybe it was just aim assist?) The damage on it is very high where you basically can’t beat it with even power weapons in close range, I would suggest a nerf.

-You can get aim assist on MNK with controller drift

-I’m not sure about H5 but in previous Halo games, when you pick up a power weapon the timer starts right after either picking up the gun or emptying it. In this game even if you don’t pick up a power weapon or equipment, the timer remains the same. So I pick up rockets but then they spawn again in 10 seconds because it’s the same time. Not sure if it’s intended but good players will definitely abuse getting rockets 3-4 times a match. The games go by very fast too so having rockets 4 times seems a bit much, at least on Bazaar.

-Team balance was fine for the most part, I’ll admit that a LOT of people did not know how to play the game properly.

-The bots in bot arena are currently too easy, I suggest to add 2 ODST bots, 1 Marine bot and 1 Spartan bot.

-Still no exclusive fullscreen mode - I’ll keep writing that in every feedback comment.

-Performance was a lot better than the previous flight but still needs work as per every other comment.

-The HUD is meh for the most part. I have a hard time looking at my radar and my ammo counter. I suppose I’m just used to my weapon hud being in the upper right corner?

-However I think it wasn’t intended, people absolutely love that the sprint mechanic introduces some advanced movement tech that is VERY handy in a Halo game such as infinite.

-The outlines… They got a little better when set to yellow but for the most part I’d like them OFF completely. Sometimes I get confused by enemies if they are blue colored - however very rarely. I suggest a transparency option or an option to turn it off completely.

-NVIDIA Reflex option added to Video Settings?

-The grenade throwing and the impact itself seems perfect to me.

-There wasn’t a lot of times where I died because of ‘‘bad luck’’ or because I felt I died because of ‘-Yoink-’’ which is great.

-Couple of audio glitches here and there which I know will be fixed.

-Gravity hammer is slow but powerful, you should make it faster but less powerful or have less radius.

Was able to play two matches. Now when I select multiplayer I get the blinking UNSC icon. Been like this for over 30 minutes. Quit, restarted game and console, still same issue.

-Sprint seems off and needs to be a bit faster
-Issues with spawning in front of an enemy player or the entire enemy team
-Sprint stuttering along with forward movement lag
-Weapon spawn and ordinance drop issues on maps. There are times when one side has advantage over ordinance drops, while the other team has nothing on their side and has to stand their ground with base weapons.
-Base weapons and ordinance drops need balancing there is a clear gap between nerfed and powerful weapons. Make base weapons a bit more powerful to at least stand a fighting chance against powerful weapons. Increase the power of the needler a bit and balance out the blast radius of the rocket launcher.

Is the Announcer supposed to say Steaktacular and Victory together when winning a match? I thought steaktacular would replace “Victory” when dominating

Some feedback on the sandbox physics - first off the grapple and repulsor are absolutely brilliant!

Some things that disappointed me however:

  • Friendly player collision is turned off by default, this is something that’s been part of every previous Halo and we’re losing out on fun buddy jumps and other potential creative plays without it. - Explosion knockback physics are incredibly weak. Halo’s iconic grenade jumps and rocket jumps are no longer possible. These physics effects need to be ramped way up as they’re almost non-existent currently. - The gravity hammer has no gravity effect on the user like in previous Halo games. This means hammer jumps are no longer possible and the weapon has no oumph. The grifball community especially will miss this.

-Please Please Please reconsider adding gaining xp for player kills and completing matches on top of the daily/weekly challenges. Having both xp for kills/matches and challenges creates a more balanced experience not one or the other.
-It does indeed take a while to level up with just daily challenges and weekly challenges. A few challenges seem reasonable and attainable at first with the level progression. However, others that are more task oriented may leave you playing for quite a significant time until you get the certain game mode or to finally grab the ordinance weapon that you need for the desired kills. It ruins the enjoyment, balance, and feels like you are not making any progress towards the challenges in any way.
-Currently daily and weekly challenges feel like a disappointing chore. Progressing/completing a season’s battle pass shouldn’t feel like a dragging chore. Make the player feel satisfied about what they have accomplished, the gear they have earned, and the gear they have unlocked.

Feedback of the AI voice lines

  • The AI lines, while cute and whatnot, tend to get very distracting when trying to hear the enemy footsteps and the rest of the battle happening around you.
  • The AI lines can also tend to be very loud and annoying, or overly repetitive. The announcer (Jeff Steitzer) is fine because he simply says 1 or 2 words. The AI tends to ramble a bit over relatively mundane things.

Proposed Solution?
Make the AI voice volume correspond to a normal volume slider. This way you can customize exactly how loud you want the AI to be, from dead silent to a max volume.

I think having friendly fire turned off makes it feel different to other Halos. It means, especially for grenade throws, you don’t have to take into account the pattern of play and anticipate whether your teammates are moving in or not, can just toss freely. Takes away from the strategy and feel of the game at times. Not heard anything as to whether this will be an option to turn on or not. Although I did see a Betrayals column in the results so would be good to know what the thinking is. I think something is lost without it in the game.

Bring back Tech preview Radar. You guys were onto something amazing with the radar and it’s sad that it’s been changed after only 2 hrs of PvP playtime in the last flight. At least give it a proper chance.

Honestly not impressed with player movement. With all the hype out there people made it seem that you could do anything while sprinting and carry momentum with you as you traverse maps. But that is not what I have experienced. For next gen I was imagining more flexibility with player movement across maps similar to how players move in mirrors edge (w/o the flips and stuff like that). The more I play I wonder why even have a sprint button. Why isn’t sprint just automatic and always on. The more you push the stick in a direction the faster you should move, duh. And that leads me to my next question, Why is sprint forwards only. You should be able to sprint left or sprint right. Restricting movement isn’t next gen. Next gen is increased mobility. For example, if you are running towards a ledge you could crouch slide off the ledge (think parkour/mirrors edge) while shooting. Or if you are running at or near a wall to be able to jump off it and slide or melee or go airborne to get up to a ledge. I mean get creative with the movement thing… as long as the way you move is realistic and makes the player feel more immersed in the game it will make a great experience. Just don’t mess with the golden triangle. You should always be able to shoot while sprinting or clambering or grappling or throwing a grenade. I mean you are a spartan you don’t need two hands to shoot a gun or throw a grenade or melee. A Spartan can do a handstand on one pinky. Movement should not be restricted by any action. Gameplay should feel smooth and seamless in regards to the golden triangle. Everything else is just icing on the cake.

How do I get this game

Mine was mapped but still didn’t work. I was only able to switch to my secondary weapon after changing multiple button map settings. Going to try and see if I can go back and get the default settings to work now.

Xbox Series X and I cannot swap weapons at all. Other than that bug game is fun and smooth.

You ducked up the Rader…again
And you all know what ducked means

Someone could be sprinting right past me and NOTHING will show on the Rader, someone could be shooting, nothing, someone could be right next to me, NOTHING

343 you went and touched a bunch of -Yoink- that didn’t need touching and you stuffed it up… congratulations, I was so hyped for this and in 1 hour you killed it
