A couple issues I found were also related to challenges, as some wouldn’t get the progress (specifically “Practice Makes Perfection 1”) I haven’t been able to play the other modes that often to see whether it would log the other challenges as well but that one seems to not be working
The Ghost is way too strong. It can reverse super fast away from people sprinting at it, it is super tanky against even the warthog, and the gun shreds at a pretty decent range. At the very least, it just needs to be taking more damage from everything.
mmm today I played a little in the bazaar and literally noticed that the spnkr is very weak, why do I say this? because I sent a missile in the face of a guy and literally that he survived and I died, how is that possible? Another case, an enemy shot me a rocket in the feet but I jumped and I only got down half my life, so the spnkr is very weak saying that I hope they increase the damage because Hey! it’s a missile launcher. and that, thanks, I hope they solve it.
God bless you, bye
great work Halo DNA is here. more announcements on skills (double frags …) and a better perception when you are hit would be a
People are regularly quitting out of matches to play Behemoth, which admittedly has only come up for me once in the last hour. Are any maps time-gated next weekend? If so, please make them at least available in training mode prior to release in social arena or BTB, I think it will help with this!
Playing on the Xbox series X and everything is smooth with the tech preview so far. Been playing Social Arena and honestly theres a few things that i liked and did not like. The maps for a 4v4 playlist are too small. The map Live fire needs work I believe. Players will spawn behind you and be like 5 ft away and get the drop.
lots of crashes today usually 1 match at best then the game crashes. Often have to relog into xbox live and stream then am prompted with account cannot access until reset again
To caveat all of my thoughts, I’m fairly biased to Halo 3 (10,557 matches played according to my service record) and is gameplay mechanics, so I’m guessing most of my criticisms are rooted in that. Except for the AR stuff, the AR stuff is definitely objective
- The M50-AR is overpowered. It dominates the BR in mid range combat due to the massive boost in range that it’s received. For example, on Bazaar, you can essentially deal full damage from one side’s bridge to the other. I feel like that’s the range where damage/accuracy should start to fall off. The BR should definitely dominate in this scenario but it can’t compete in dps. It’s almost like the AR is supposed to be the new BR BUT with really effective close range capability. It dominates the Pistol in close range combat due to the AR’s low time to kill. It’s only a two shot headshot kill on an unshielded opponent, so with how fast the bullets fire it’s basically just as fast as compared to your other starting weapon (the Pistol). - Speaking of the Pistol, it’s basically useless in most scenarios. It seems to have weaker aim assist, even for hitting body shots, compared to the AR. With the little aim assist it does have, it’s only for a target within a few meters, so trying to shoot someone mid range is more difficult and unreliable. Since the AR is so powerful, there’s no real point in running the Pistol as a primary for combat situations. The only time the pistol is ever useful is when you come across an unshielded opponent and can land a headshot. If the pistol is going to be a close range weapon, it should have a distinct advantage in close range fights. If I land every headshot against an opponent with an AR landing all of there shots, the AR gets the kill 10 times out of 10. Especially since the Pistol also has Bloom?? despite it already having terrible range, so consistently landing headshots rapidly is impossible due to the RNG introduced. I know we don’t want another Halo 5 pistol situation but still…seems useless now. - The reticle on the sniper is misleading. I was testing no scoping with the sniper, which historically has always been pinpoint accurate with the bullet firing in the center, in the firing range, and several times it looked like my reticle was dead on but I either missed or hit a body shot. I would zoom in and my reticle would be right on the targets head. I would then unzoom and miss completely? I don’t think it should be like this, unless I misunderstand something. I normally would just quick scope anyways, so it’s not a huge deal, but it just seems like getting a nice long range no scope will be more RNG than it ever was before. I did another test shooting the “10m” sign in the firing range where I would place my reticle in the center of the “0”, unzoom and shoot. Zooming back in, I would see a large spread with bullet holes completely outside of the “0”. Seems like a pretty big spread given I’m only 10m away. - Explosions kinda suck. The damage seems on point but they don’t apply any force to the objects the explosion interact with like in prior halo games. You can’t grenade jump. You shoot someone with this super powerful rocket launcher…and they just kind of fall over. - Friendly fire is disabled? I feel like this is a pretty core part of the halo experience and being considerate of your teammates positioning and not being able to just grenade spam in a room with your teammate fighting in fear of damaging your teammate. If there’s no friendly fire added in competitive I will 100% opt out (not a threat, just sharing my opinion that others may share as well). - Why is there no collision physics for teammates? I can Phase right through my teammates but my grenades bounce off of them. It doesn’t make any sense. I should have to go around my teammate, not be able to stand in the exact same spot as them. - The aiming feels weird. I’m not sure if it’s the aim assist acceleration curve or what, but not matter how I set the sensitivities or acceleration, I can’t replicate how aiming feels on MCC. This may all be in my head, but it feels better in LAN modes (academy stuff) than it does in Online. Maybe this has to with the server connection, but it feels less consistent and sluggish online. Also I had several matches where players sprinting/strafing would be hitching around the map, making them extremely difficult to hit.
Please do not place players into a match that’s already over.
It’s very un-entertaining to join a game where my team has 0 points, and the other needs about 20 more to win the match. It’s a waste of my time.
I just played in a big arena with technique. This is terrible. Unfortunately, I don’t know the name, but it looks like a motorcycle. This is a very unbalanced weapon. This needs to be fixed. The machines have high speed, high damage and durability. The driver is covered with armor from the front. When used correctly, you can ride it throughout the game and kill enemies.

> > Halo 5 is my favorite video game of all time. I am very disappointed so far in Halo Infinite. The AR is way too powerful. The pistol sucks and has no range. Removing thrusters is helping to enable grenade spam. Players should not regen health while sprinting. Overall this game feels like it was watered down to please casuals who refuse to move on from Halo 3.

> it’s a shame you never played Halo 3. You have no idea what you are talking about. The fact you can put Halo 3 and the word causal in the same sentence is mind-blowing.
Halo 3’s competitive playlist had BR spawns and completely removed equipment other than overshield and active camo. I am holding out hope that Halo Infinite’s ranked competitive will remove grapple and other equipment also, along with auto rifles and other automatic weapons.
Feels like the ar is a little too good. Seemingly outclassing the br and commando entirely. Spawns are a little whack. Ive had teams spawn on me while I’m fighting somebody. Ive spawned on an enemy team. Ive spawned in the sight line of an enemy player. And radar seems really bad. People will be shooting me directly behind me and not showing up on radar. It just doesn’t feel like old halo radar. People just are not showing up at all most of the time and its just weird. Doesn’t seem like plasma grenades make any sound either
The flight is okay, but it gets laggy
And there’s problem when you load up in to a game,
You sponging time in the mach enemy team is already winning.
It’s not really fun
And you guys need better body types please and thank you
I don’t really like the cursor control in the car. It gets in the way in some places and can give players the ability to choose which driving mode to turn on.
Ghost is really over powered.
a) Too much damage too quickly
b) The ghost kills people instantly while they jump up while its zooming under you (with full health)
c) The steering could be a little more sensitive
d) It’s able to boost the flag across the map as long as someone throws it in front of the ghost (should be hollow to vehicles)
Melee is very annoying. I’ll get more shots on someone but somehow they out-melee me.
Bullet registration is still somewhat broken. Not everything registers at medium and long distances.
I’d also like to see the recticle smaller for certain weapons like Magnum.
-Sniper rifle reticle is not centered properly when aimed and zoomed in
-Give us the ability to emp vehicles with the plasma pistol. However, balance the emp power to where it doesn’t ruin the flow of combat
-A few kills/assists were not registering even though critical hit points of damage were dealt
-Reloading weapons needs to be slightly faster
-Spawning needs to be slightly faster to improve the flow of combat
THe 3 burst plasma Rifle… Slight nerf on it as its… DOG -Yoink-
Flight Played in a Xbox One S All Digital
The Flight is ok for me, I don’t so much bugs, but I have some things to tell about
Matchmaking: Sometimes when the player makes a Squad with a friend, the match takes too much time and sometimes whe don’t find someone or the game disconnect us, our Wi-Fi signal isn’t the problem.
Training Mode: I can’t acess the training mode, the mode have a infinite, not joking, loading, I can play the arena with perfection, but the Training Mode I can’t acess.
Weapon Drill: No bugs, pretty good.
Arena: pretty good, but Bazzar have some shadow glitchs
Bots: still pretty good.
End of commentary.

Halo fan since the first one, and so much goodness here!! How ever, I feel the weapon balance is off from previous games and could use some adjustment to make it feel more like Halo and less like Call of Duty. (Maybe this is the goal)
Here is my thought on the weapons I mainly used:
MA40 Assault Rifle – perfect
BR75 Battle Rifle – excellent (I wish it were easier to acquire)
VK78 Commando – Too much recoil and feels weak
MK50 Sidekick – Way too soft (3 headshots should do the job!)
Grenades – All of them seem too weak
In summery:
I feel less like a super soldier and more like a regular joy, to sum up, my thoughts. I’m missing the ability to have precision at mid to long-range with the default weapons. I’m frustrated with the inability to follow up a well-placed grenade with a few quick shots to get a rewording kill. Since the AR is so powerful, there’s no real point in using the Pistol and grenades. This combination is very limiting and requires players to utilize scarce other weapons. Increasing the pistol and grenades damage will ensure a more creative and dynamic combination of outwitting your enemies.
capture the flag games with vehicles while flag id on ground it can be pushed with vehicles allowing quick flag caps if dropped by carrier
