How do you get an invite to the preview?
Loving it so far, do think the radar range could be increased some and the respawn timer could be reduced 1 or 2 seconds. Glad you returned to original Halo Motion Sensor Radar, just needs a bit of a boost in range.
Loving the MP demo so far! Only things that bother me is the intros that I hope we get to change and one or two graphical glitches on Bazaar. The frame rate I can deal with with no worries but I feel like it could be more smoothed out. Aside from that it’s pretty fun!
I really feel the game is going in a bad direction with the no player identity in starts
I really miss weapon load outs even if it was just a 2-3 weapon choice, feels so awful after a while hopefully they have a mode with them in it, id love for there to be that flexability to match making of load outs or no load outs one of my favorite things in MCC since both are fun but both have their own issues.
radar should increase a bit
game play felt unrewarding a lot of the time (might of be due to some movement issues i had with pc version tho)
the assault riflle doesnt feel like an assault rifle anymore the same gun thats been so familiar in so many games, so just worsens the starting with neutral weapons feeling even more
AND GET RID OF INTROS THEY MADE ME WANT TO ALT F4 AFTER 3RD TIME
Let my 10yo daughter play a round of matchmaking and apparently she killed herself one too many time because now it is saying that I’m banned from the rest of the preview for too many suicides…is there a fix for this, or am I screwed for the rest of the preview?

Overall, I love this game, and can’t wait for the release. Suggestions:

I really have trouble with all of the outlined players. Being able to turn that off in favor of old-school colors with names over everyones head would be great. You also miss out on all of the cool armor looks that everyone will be using.

The radar is pretty useless if it only picks up sprint/shooting. At least half my deaths come from players just coming up behind me that I never see.

Pistol/AR are a little too strong.

I hate the opening shot of the players. It looks amateurish.

Throwing grenades feels like I’m throwing an ODST grenade instead of a Halo grenade. Throwing long grenades always makes for interesting kills.

Being able to carry the camo/shield and activate it right before engagement is too much of an advantage. And the camo is extremely difficult to pick up in battle. Especially with the current status of the radar.

Try checking if “Y” has been unmapped in controller settings. This happens to me every so often even though the graphic of the controller still shows it as mapped.
- Bazzar seems to always end in either my team or the enemy team spawn camping each other or rockets, makes it very standoffish in the sense that if any team moves into the middle or other side they lose the fight. Not a map designer but maybe more external options to get into the other side, right now the rocket spawn is open so if you go that way you get shot from BR walkways and the opposite side is a grenade coffin room.
Not trying to sound mean, ungrateful or anything else just my personal opinion and feedback.
18m radar is WAY too small and footstep sounds are near nonexistent leading to enemies seemingly appearing behind you.
UI glitch occasionally shows 0 score in the middle of a match
Ravager feels underpowered for its rate of fire
AR feels a little weak
trying to switch weapons by scrolling is annoying because each scroll pip counts as a weapon switch
drop wall takes too long to deploy and is too weak
Skewer is in a REALLY good place, balance-wise
audio glitch when rapid firing pistol
Pistol is so underwhelming and gravity hammer is too slow also it feels like everyone has infinite grenades maybe less grenades on respawn or less on pods.
Do not remove BxB rofl.

Need to either change color of your teammates name when they die or better distinguish between alive players and dead
Is matchmaking working?
There’s two things that bothers me:

Team balance. I played 20 something matches today and won only 2. The teams were horribly unbalanced each time. We were put against seasoned veterans game after game and completely destroyed every time. Why exactly I have to play against the most sweatiest bodyshooting-teabagging tryhards 10 times in a row and lose each time to maybe win once? If there’s not a proper matchmaking system in launch, the game will die in less than a year. Just like Halo 4 and 5 did for the same reason. The casual player will lose interest incredibly fast if getting absolutely destroyed each time in every game again and again and again.

Radar. Only sprinting and shooting showing up on radar doesn’t belong in a Social playlist. You should be able to relax and play casually and not looking behind your back every second and sweat your -Yoink- off. It just terrible, especially when playing solo. That kind of gameplay mechanic belongs to a ranked playlist in my opinion where the gameplay setting is more hardcore.
When trying to select Multiplayer, the menu is just continuously loading and no longer giving me the option for the Arena or Bot Arena. I did play one session that finished around 5:25 and I havent been able to load in since.
The game feels great really enjoying it but these are the things I have noticed so far.
- Radar could be slightly longer ranged seems a bit close
- Weapon loadouts would be good rather than just spawning with a pistol and assault rifle
- I had a glitch with the assault rifle not showing the ammo count on the weapon itself. Only happened in one game and fixed itself the next game.
- In the weapons training range the weapon elevator sometimes jams up and gets in the way when shooting. It seems to happen if you jump or move before its gone down when you collect the weapon.
- AI in the training matches seem to get stuck trying to jump up a wall near the spawn point on the recharge map, and they end up just jumping up and down on the spot
- I feel bullet damage needs a bit of a buff as you can empty a mag into someone and they are still jumping about
Very minor issues and I think the Dev team have done a great job so far.
I have too enjoyed it some of the weapons if not all need to be abit tweaked and the shields I feel are too strong but all and all it’s very good

I got one game and then it stopped working. Not sure if this just a few or if its larger.
I try to join get into the multiplayer menu, leaves me on the UNSC loading icon. Worked earlier though and the experience was great.
So, this is all I got for now.

Main Menu: as soon as Flight 2 is started, there is a flash transition to the main menu, then instantly on the new loading screen and then again on the main menu. It’s a bit annoying to see at every start; - Main Menu: there are some reflections’ flickering on left and right side of the floor, right below the parked Pelican; - Main Menu: when entering/exiting Settings submenu there is a “green flicker/flash” on screen for a brief moment, similar to a signal error; - Main Menu: Spartans/Weapons/Vehicles models in the showroom are a bit too much aliased, edges should be smoother; - Main Menu: disabling Running/Speed “lines” effect has no effect when applied from Main Menu. It applies in-game correctly (enabling/disabling it again), but the effect will appear again on new matches (even if the settings remains disabled in the Settings menu). It won’t stick; - In-Game Menu: when opening and navigating Settings Menu while in-game, there is a very annoying “flashing” of the entire screen in and out of the actual game, which could be a big issue for photosensitive and epileptic people out there; - Shooting Range: there is noticeable stutter during camera, player and bots movement. It’s really bad and annoying but strange as this is non existent in actual game matches (Training Mode and Social Slayer); - In-Game: our Spartan HAS NO LEGS. When looking down only our shadow on the terrain is visible, along with our footprints on mud and other surfaces but without any leg model/animation like in previous Halo. That was weird! - In-Game: explosions’ effects could be better, especially plasma explosions which still look like exploding ink. Frag granades explosions could have more smoke and depth. See Halo 2 Anniversary Campaign and Multiplayer for good explosions reference; - In-Game: I noticed some random light flickering on some of the Arena maps (both in Recharge and Bazaar).AUDIO FEEDBACK

Nothing to report here: both main menu and in-game music and all audio effects and design is just THE BEST I’VE EVER EXPERIENCED IN A GAME. Also everything worked as expected. A true standing ovation to the Music/Audio teams here. You Nailed it. Really!GAMEPLAY FEEDBACK

Current system to switch Granades type in Training Mode is cumbersome (push Left D-Pad, then have a look on current available granades type and switch Up D-Pad for changing it or Left D-Pad again to keep those in use). I think that just pushing Left D-Pad to cycle between them would be much more easy/intuitive and functional, as it always been and as it seems it already is in Social Slayer 4vs4. Same direct cycling is highly preferrable also in Campaign; - In-Game: sometimes while playing there is a full freeze of around 10 seconds, then everything starts moving again. Very worrysome! - Main Menu: The detailed final Score table after a match is not sorting the best players accordingly. E.g. the best player of a team (best score + best K/D/A ratio + best aim etc.) is wrongly put as last of the squad, or randomly in the middle; - Main Menu: Spartan ID customization is greyed out / not accessible; - Store: Purchased items in the in-game Store cannot be equipped -> Xbox Live Error.LOCALIZATION (ITALIAN) FEEDBACK

With my Series X set in Italian/Italy there is no English voiceover at all (no Personal AI dialogues, No Narrator, No Spartans chatter, nothing). Just Italian subtitles; - Most of texts are already translated in Italian while many others don’t (e.g. Challanges and Challanges Description, Maps Descriptions etc.); - I really hope the final game WILL have Italian voiceover and audio too?All in all, I’m really having a blast with Halo Infinite MP and I truly believe you all at 343i created something truly special which was strongly missed both by the gaming industry and mainly by all players around the globe.
I really can’t wait to also fully dig in BTB 12vs12 next week (so to prepare a “Part 2” of this overall feedback post) and especially see what you’ve cooked Campaign wise.
In the meanwhile, keep it up with this outstanding work!
