I understand this is a beta and we are testing but constantly I’ve seen people slamming on the things people previously asked for, too much power, too much movement, blah blah I think you guys did freaking amazing so far and if this is just the start this game is gonna last FOREVER, dare I say top halo 3 multiplayer, stop comparing to other games cause there is no other games like Halo, state the glitches and things that matter play different and adapt, that’s what makes a good game

I am sorry man. not the same experience. I will be 10-15 feet from someone and dumb a whole clip into someone and they don’t die, always end up having to switch to pistol to clean up the kill. burst firing was a bit better. also if you are getting shot across the map maybe you are being shot by multiple people.

This is not a Beta but a technical preview. The general idea of the game is good but a lot of things need to be tweaked and fine-tuned. and the engine needs to be optimized. and the nedcode could be better. getting shot around walls doesn’t feel good. Thanks for your non-existent productive feedback.
lol this game has a long way to go before can be anywhere near the same level as Halo 3. That’s just facts.

I think it’s a decent mechanic. It makes you feel that you have your own version of cortana in your ear. Granted the personality of the AIs could be different. If we had more options, that would be great. I also think that you SHOULD have the option to turn it off for people that don’t want to listen to it.
overall though, it makes me feel more like a Spartan IMO.

I should not be able to walk through teammates, that makes no sense at all. And please return friendly fire as well, it’s just not good old Halo if I can’t accidentally kill a teammate with a grenade or rocket launched at an enemy. It makes for a good laugh especially during intense serious play. Maybe keep these features in a competitive section for the MLG players I guess, but friendly fire should definitely be in social/ranked. Obviously put in a betrayal boot button after maybe 2 team kills to prevent obvious trolls though just like Reach had!

Power weapon/equipment Timers need to go as well. Again, maybe put it in a competitive section out of ranked/social because people will just camp the power weapons especially when they’re about to spawn and it’s just not fun. I liked it better in the old Halos when you had to find weapons on a map or you see someone with a rocket and you’re like “hmm I wonder where that spawns” or “ooo there’s rockets on this map” It makes exploring the map all the more enjoyable and decreases the amount of people camping the spawn when they don’t know that it’ll spawn in 10 seconds.

The overshield effect is hideous, why is it all white? Plus it looks all glitched out too. Can we please go back to the green overshield effect on the player, it looks more natural and makes more sense than being completely white. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it!
3.5. Same with shields in general, I’m not a huge fan of the fact that enemies shields make them entirely red. It’s hard to tell how low someone is now and I genuinely find myself getting confused especially since we’ve been so used to the classic shield effect since Halo CE. Again, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it lol but it could be just a knit pick of mine i guess. -
I know it’s been said too many times, but please listen we need match xp back! XP for medals, XP for kills! Otherwise what’s the point of our score in-game, it’s just annoying when I got to complete 4 matches to earn XP making the first 3 matches almost pointless and makes me feel like I’m playing for nothing. If we aren’t earning at least a little XP every single match then there feels like there’s no reason to play, like your accomplishments are for nothing. Challenges are nice but we definitely need some XP for just playing casually AT LAUNCH please! There’s a reason for the amount of backlash so try and see our reasoning!

Feedback so far:
Aim-Assist: It feels nearly impossible to aim with a controller, I would love to see aim-assist added back to controllers because it’s way too difficult to aim without it, especially at long ranges.
SKMM: I know this isn’t in the flight because it’s a flight but I hope there’s some form of Skill-Based Mathcmaking at launch. If the aiming wasn’t difficult enough, playing against pros and such is proven most games are 11-50 at the end and it makes the game no fun/demoralizing to play.
Disable Cross: Again a QOL for launch, playing on a controller without aim-assist is hard enough but when you add M&KB players to the mix the game becomes impossible. They are much better at aiming and controllers have all the disadvantages.
Otherwise, it’s fun, bot modes are super fun and feel a lot less sweaty and the training mode is helpful. Just a few things that cause a lot of frustration, hope this feedback gets considered!
The spawn system needs a massive overhaul. It is by far one of the biggest short comings and frustrations about the game. It doesn’t spawn in the traditional split like it did in original halo games. Prior it would spawn you with a team member not in danger or in an area of the map no occupied by the opposing team. I find that many times i spawn in maybe kill a guy and a team member of mine kills another guy elsewhere on the map and then both enemy members spawn within perfect ar distance right behind where i spawned no more then 10 seconds ago.
This seems to happen in an almost endless cycle and quite frankly makes no sense when one whole half of the map is not occupied whatsoever.
In other fixes, please remove the bloom from the pistol as it renders it very inoperable with the ar is as strong as it is and an opposing member has a br or dmr.
I have enjoyed Infinite thus far and appreciate the early access and wanting feedback directly from us consumers/players.
I think some of these comments on here are fueled by personal biases towards how they envision the perfect Halo game for themselves and not necessarily constructive feedback to better enhance the game going forward with what has been presented to us thus far. (i.e. there shouldn’t be running, the game is too fast/it needs to be slowed down, you shouldn’t start with an AR or pistol, you should just be able to walk over Camo or Overshield to use it, etc).
My feedback: The most obvious thing to me was the overpowering effect the AR has at any range. I can understand if it was one of the better weapons at close range, but to have the same lethal effect at medium and even long range at times is not consistent with the performance of other weapons in Infinite. Some people already seem to be taking advantage of that and running around the map with just their AR starting weapon and getting 15-20 kills in a game without firing a single bullet from any other weapon. The damage, range, accuracy/bullet spread or magnetism needs to be adjusted relative to the performance of other weapons in Infinite.

Get stuck in searching but not really searching if you try to search for a new game too quick, can also get stuck sometimes if you try to cancel search. Only way out is to exit to desktop.

I really like Modern Warfare Multiplayer intro, it would be cool having a falcon, flying over the map and seeing how the map layout look like above before the match begins. Or maybe having more simple style intro like Destiny 2? Showing your whole team instead of going one by one.

Many things have already been told about the beta…
By my side I dont really like the challenge system which is more about commitment (or sometime luck) than skill, imo. Score based on teamplay actions, kills and series is more accurate for a shooter like Halo.
About animations now, must say that walking animations on stairs are absolute failed. Same for changing weapon animation for your teammates and strafing.
When the spartans stafs by 10 o’clock it’s like they walking straight forward which is kinda strange.
One last thing that I definitely cant be used to, is the scope… why not use the real scope instead of this weird smart scope? Ok we in the future but following yhis, why keep scopes on weapons if we use the spartan HUD to aim?.. weird
For the rest and considering some of what have been reported on this thread, I really love the Infinite sensations on the beta, a good back to the source. appreciate it!
I sometimes feels like playing Halo 2 back in the days. Amazing vibes with this one and on this Flight. Gunplay, AI, Design, Sounds. Nice work!!

I don’t like how you can only earn points in Strongholds when you control at least two hills. It’s unsatisfying to not earn any points even when you’re controlling just one hill. I understand why it’s designed this way for competitive play, but for casual play, I think it would be more fun (and more intuitive) for points to be awarded for holding one hill.
Points i think need changing:
Colour of enemies and teammates - back to red and blue very simple colours and understanding your teammates makes it easier.
UI needs to be simpler - simple idea of score, weapons, radar and ammo
With sprint, radar needs to be larger 18m is too small. 25m should be minimum.
Hit markers for long range pistoling.
The maps are sufficiently large enough for BR start in my view
Please give us the option to do objective games. I only get stuck in slayer and all my weekly challenges are objective based.

For CTF, I don’t like how “at home to score” is turned on. I think that setting is best for competitive play, not unranked play. When playing unranked, it’s not very fun to bring the enemy flag all the way home and then end up losing it. (I know this is how it was in Halo 5 but I didn’t like it there either. I think it’s better for ranked and unranked to have different rulesets.)
