Infinite tech Preview - PC

Halo Infinite
-specs

Pretty awesome game i have an RTX 2060 I7 and put everything on Ultra with highest FPS and that game was just incredible, no lags, no fps drops ( i was scared that it would lag or some other things) but no. pretty happy about it.

- Game-play (bots)

Bots could a little bit improved but i find them pretty good in compared whit the previous halo’s, i had the feeling that those bot’s could improve with every game i played ( or maybe it’s a feeling :stuck_out_tongue: ). Sometimes they acted weird just running and looking in the sky ( maybe they wanted to e a pelican).

-Game-play

The game play was pretty fun sometimes feels like i wasn’t right, like the grapple shot it has much potentials but it feels different i know it’s just a flight it will be more improved, The shield force that you use take to much time to be deployed the time it actives, i’m already dead =). the other power’s up there is nothing to say.

-Weapons

Ravager was pretty weird to use and the fire after a charge could just be more improved or realist.
Scrap Cannon the feeling was different i dunno how to explain.

- Feeling of the game

the game was awesome happy to have waited that long if they had released the game previous year i think i had more bad criticism than good after i saw the first trailer but now pretty awesome the academy fun to use for beginners of people that want to improve their skills whit some weapons.
Battle pass fun idea, give some challenge to improve.

My Series X ran the game better than my 3080.

You must have a bottleneck somewhere. I ran the game on Ultra on my 2080TI and had no issues what so ever. That being said I also have 64GB of Ram and i9 9900k. For sure needs optimization here and there.

Processor Intel(R) Core™ i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz, 3696 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s)
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 16.0 GB

If I can run Metro Exodus at 144hz, I should be able to run Halo Infinite at 144 hz.

Yea the pc port is very stuttery when it shouldn’t be. MCC on pc is smooth compared to this.

Yeaaa that’s true, that’s it’s just a beta. I hope they improve it more.

I’m running high end components as well and also noticed lackluster performance and visuals compared to our console compatriots. I’m assuming it’s just optimization as the consoles are easier to work with. However, comparing games with different engines and different stages of completion is essentially comparing apples to oranges.
