Infinite Tech Preview – PC Specific Feedback

PC Feedback…(Current setup include i7-6800, 16Gb RAM, GTX 1080 at 1080P with 144hz monitor.

Graphics: Settings were at Medium all around but didn’t look bad to me at all (0% motion blur and 0% screen shake). Very little screen tearing for me.

Audio: I noticed that my audio was a tad buggy. Hit detection almost felt mute sometimes. It also changed when joining a game that had already started. *Note…sound track is amazing.

Settings Menu: Game started up with no issues. Over the weekend I would notice my settings would reset to default and I would have to readjust. Adjusting any keybinding during a game caused it to crash but when doing it on the main screen it was fine. Coundn’t for the life of me figure out how to remove a keybinding entirely. I wanted to remove “F” for switch weapons since I kept accidently hitting it when throwing grenades with “G” and couldnt erase that bind.

Movement: Overall mouse and keyboard mechanics felt great(maybe a little heavy) aside from the known bugs (sliding/throwing nades). A lot of people are commenting that the sprint is too slow but I thought it was perfect. Meant to assist strategically moving but not necessarily allow you to just run away from a fight easily. Almost like a Halo 3 meets Halo 5 hybrid.

Enjoyment: Had a blast and can’t wait for the real deal to come out. For now I will go back and start playing through MCC and Halo 5 again.

Cheers!

> Hey all! I’m not sure how much of the feedback 343 is going to read, but I played for a good while and wanted to provide my initial thoughts.
>
> I’m playing primarily with a controller and, although I haven’t played on console, it feels a little bit off. The guns themselves feel great to shoot, but the aiming and sensitivity just don’t feel right at this time. The default sensitivity is set at 4 which I thought would be fine but I ended up having to lower it drastically to feel like I was comfortable with my aim. If there’s something I hope is improved in later builds (and the final release) it’s this. A game can look gorgeous, but if it doesn’t feel right it’s not going to be as fun.
>
> Additionally, and this may just be me, I feel like there’s a lot of talking going on. Between the announcer, the Spartans, the AI, and even the other players there was just a ton going on at once. I was able to alleviate this a bit by disabling the Spartans, but it still felt like a bit much sometimes. I actually really like the AI, and hope to see more varieties, but it currently feels like they cheer you on or talk a bit too much. These moments should be fun and somewhat special but when it happens every moment of the game the effect wears off fast. I’d like it more if the AI’s banter felt more meaningful. Example: I don’t need to keep hearing how great my pistol is throughout the match.
>
> Lastly, I miss being able to handle my customizations from the pause menu rather than a dedicated tab on the home screen. Again, totally just my opinion, but I like the way it’s currently handled on the MCC and even other previous titles.
>
> Thanks for letting us have a chance to preview the game. So far it’s pretty fun and it makes me look forward to the next flight and the full release.

I support being able to customize from the pause menu. Great feedback

PC Feedback:
Noticed some stuttering when sprinting, melee, and using armor abilities. There seemed to be a considerable delay between hitting someone and the hit actually registering.
I have very good wifi but still noticed a fair bit lag/rubberbanding in games vs other players (not sure if servers had a play in that).

Overall I really enjoyed the game, I found the guns to be fairly balanced and the equipment to be a very new and fun change to the genre. sprinting feels near useless however and trying to close the gap for melee weapons is rather difficult when a pistol can drop you in no time.

Going to keep this one short and sweet with some sour:

22:16 EST 30/07 - match started but went to a black screen with spinning icon in the middle (loading icon), could still hear team members but never loads, hard close the application. This happened about three different times throughout the flight.

22:35 EST 30/7 - connected via Bluetooth Xbox controller to PC, experienced lag in the vertical motion and trigger not reacting to first shot in both the academy and matchmaking, random, not able to reproduce. I replaced the batteries and still experienced the issue at random times in both matchmaking and academy. Update 2/8 - Didn’t experience any lag in the controller, not sure if it was fixed with the update but played three really good games this morning without issues.

14:56 EST 1/8 - Froze mid-game, had to end the process which didn’t work, had to restart PC. Only happened once.

Character customizations didn’t want to stick after being applied then exiting the armory hall, this seemed to be fixed after I restarted the game.

Game setting configurations keep having to be applied after exiting the game, for some reason, some setting would be persistent and other not. For example, I use legacy controls and look inversion enabled. The legacy control would always either go to custom or default after application exit, but look inversion remained persistent. Many others weren’t persistent like FOV.

Anytime I entered a match that was already in progress (Three times), I would experience muffled weapon noises though I could clearly hear myself getting hurt when hit.

  • No issues just notes *
  • On high settings I managed a stable 80 FPS in the menu and in matchmaking
  • Marine Bots are great for first-time players
  • ODST bots are great for a warm-up, questionably good grenade skill, and long-distance shooting with pistol/machine gun
  • Spartan bots have some heat on them, definitely dance a bit more than ODST, and are a good challenge
  • BR is the business and a go-to weapon
  • Grenades seem a bit OP
  • bulldog rips
  • sniper is harder to use than previous games - just feels different
  • The VK78 Commando is a pain to use but has the potential to be great. I think it needs to be a bit more powerful TBH - I use this weapon in a single shot capacity and it seems to work well at longer distances - closer distances the full auto mode is good but hard to control.
  • Needler is powerful now, don’t sleep on the needler
  • I love how I can grapple onto the edge of a wall, makes getting around far more efficient

Overall really happy with the game, obvious bugs aside, it’s going to be a great game, and looking forward to a more polished 343 release.

Please tone down the crouch strafing. It’s too fast and hard to track, especially for controller players. Also, sometimes the program crashes when I try to edit my Spartan’s helmet. I also experience framerate issues (on PC).

Just played for a few hours and came about a bug where the audio would be like nearly muted for gunfire, movements and enviromental sounds, while announcer and AI voices would be louder than usual. My audio settings didnt change at all tho

personally i really liked this preview, my only issues suggestions etc are that; 3 bots seems like a bit too little, especially since they seem to be only easy, hard, then extra hard, i really hope theres some more bot variety in release, maybe even in custom matches (hopefully those will be a thing) settings could be tweaked, stuff like how often they throw grenades what kinda tactics etc, the only other issues i have are that melee takes up way to much of the screen and most of the time i lost the enemy and they kill me because my screen was covered and they just walked behind me, and also, the maps seem way too small, you basically see all they have to offer in like 5 minutes, while the maps arent bad i just hope theres some bigger multiplayer maps in release, i swear it feels like youre just stuck in a cage, and my last complaint; the pulse carbine is terrible, even if the enemy is 4 feet infront of you itll only hit half the time, its so damn hard to hit anybody with it, maybe make the projectiles faster or make it full auto instead of 3-burst, right now its just unusable, even my fists are better than the damn thing even though it seems like melee doesnt do -Yoink- while the enemies kill me instantly with it. and my only suggestion really is to make credits gainable by other means besides paying real money, for the people who love the game and want cosmetics but cant really spend money on it for any various reasons, maybe completing challenges could give credits, or gained at the end of matches based on how well you did, etc.
in general the preview was great but pretty lacking and very clearly unfinished

edit; oh also forgot to mention, remember the radar from other halo games? yeah i forgot that existed, its so small and useless that i only ever noticed it once then forgot it untill now, also another thing; maybe make enemy and ally outlines optional, personally i love the feature since it makes knowing where the damn enemy is easier but i can understand some people probably dont like it

Extremely bad frame rates and frame pacing on a wide-range on PC hardware, including high-end setups. Even if I manage to get 60fps, it does not FEEL like 60fps. The game is super choppy and not smooth at all on PC. I can basically max out most games in the graphics department and get well over 120fps, the fact that the Xbox Series X performs much more smooth and overall better than better high-end PC hardware does not bode well, especially since Xbox Series X is based off of RDNA2 architecture.

My setup:
AMD Ryzen 5900X
ASUS Strix Radeon 6700XT (12GB DDR6 VRAM)
64BG G.Skill Trident Z RAM @3600mhz
ASUS TUF Monitor @1440 / 144hz
1TB M.2 NVME SSD

After dying, my spartan looses textures and seems to appear white-ish/transparent

Played on 1920x1080 resolution, medium graphics preset mostly. Tried out the High Graphics preset and Ultra preset, with Ultra giving me troublesome frames in Bazaar, dipping into 33’s before the update. Tested today again in full ultra preset and, surprisingly, no trouble on Recharge and Bazaar. Only Live Fire gave me fluctuating frames from 50 to 59 frames. That being said, I never could hold a straight 60 fps in any of the maps with ultra settings, let alone on medium. Even capping the minimum frames to 60 and maximum to 60 didn’t help. Only by putting maximum framecap to at least 75 provided me extra frames but even then I couldn’t have a stable framerate.

Gameplay:

  • I love the feel of movement and the fact that each weapon feels great to handle is an added bonus.
  • I had sometimes a hard time understanding when the enemy shields were popped or regenerating. I tried some colour schemes, even some of the suggested ones, but didn’t really find much change. It’s like the shields are lacking that oompf, when they’re popped.
  • I felt somewhat clunky with the hit registrations at times, even if I made shots that hit it still felt like I was missing at least one bullet at times.
  • Melee also felt a bit off when I would make a hit, it wouldn’t register and instead i’m the one getting melee’d.
  • Personally I had issues with the F and G keys as F is for switching weapons and G is for throwing a grenade: Sometimes I would just accidentally press F when I want to throw a grenade, which causes me to feel jammed for a moment until I regain the momentum back. Or I would just throw a grenade and instantly, accidentally, switch weapons at the same time and feel jammed.
  • Same with marking objectives or enemies with C key. I think switching the warthog’s marking to C and player marking to X for some might probably help better. That being said, I only have 4 fingers in total on my left hand so that’s probably something. Obviously I could just change the buttons to better match my own gameplay so there’s that. That being said I love the feature of being able to mark objectives and enemies, as in communicating even without voice-coms is possible and I like this feature.
  • Sometimes the sound goes lower or you’re missing some sound effects when in-game.
  • Grenades lack the blast oompf you’d see in other games, where the after-effect would give a boost in jump. Same with gravity hammer.
  • Sometimes when you climb you could see a body part of your spartan. Same with sliding.
  • Equipments feel overall pretty nice to use.
  • I think the maps in general are pretty easy to camp on. On Bazaar for example, you could sit at the center of the map unless you just go and run around. Applicable on other maps so far.
  • I like to try and use slide but it’s surprising that it doesn’t have to be a necessity to use, but it definitely provides a lot of advanced movement if you’re good ad it. Often you’d just sprint which is currently fair to use. A very good mix of various halo games movement so far.
  • I really like the rotating power weapons in the maps, it gives a nice dynamic for the gameplay and is refreshing from the previous games where you’d know what power weapons are where, etc.

Visuals:

  • I had a hard time distinguishing differences between medium graphics and ultra graphics, but eventually managed to find improvements on ultras side with slight sharpening on objects and details, effects, etc. That being said if you’d just slap me a 1080p ultra settings right in front me again I wouldn’t at first really see much difference when comparing to medium graphics, unless I’d go through the recordings closely. Considering this is a tech preview still, I could understand this. Maybe it’ll be different when the game launches?
  • Curiously I looked at the background areas of Live Fire with medium graphics and I noticed some of the trees from the red side spawn(?) further were kinda blurry. Not sure if this is intentional but I don’t really mind much.
  • Shields cracking visual is underwhelming, hard to recognize sometimes when they’re depleted unless you’re in combat with the enemy. The pop itself is still clear to see(when they’re about to break the shields kind of burst in the color you’ve set them).
  • Overall though, the details and graphical stuff so far is pleasant to watch, although I did expect more graphic galore when changing from medium to ultra, hence I was expecting more frames to be dropped when playing on ultra graphics and the game to be more demanding. Not a bad thing though. Obviously on ultra you can see a lot more details, etc, so i’m very happy with this.

Performance:

  • Honestly I expected the performance to be kind of weak with my PC specs but I was surprised that I could play this near above 55 frames on Live Fire, on 1080p. On other maps just a small fluctuation of 2 frames, 57-59.
  • Had varying frame changes on Live Fire Map specifically, margins for frames between 50-59, while in Recharge & Bazaar frames were sticking to around 57-59. I’d assume Live Fire has more lighting stuff and other things that affect the performance there.
  • Hardly any performance changes after the PC updates between medium and ultra graphics, probably just 2-4 frames most.
  • Prior to the update i’m not sure if I had another program running or the optimization felt bad but playing ultra graphics on Live Fire at that time was pretty miserable, frames at lowest being around 33 and at highest at 57. But recently, as of today, I haven’t had this problem.
  • I found it funny that when you first launch the game it’s slow but closing it and opening it again is faster.

Customization:

  • Overall? Great! I think with many options for armor coatings and armor pieces, clicking on the randomizer would give funnier results. The panels feel great to use.
  • Sometimes the customization panels would kind of bug out and not show you the piece or whatever when hovering it.

Audio:

  • I have to praise the audio, both the sounds and the music in game. Superb!

General specs:
AMD 5800x
EVGA 3080
16 GB RAM
Installed on SSD
Run @ 1080p

Game ran pretty well for me overall for a test build. 80-90 frames on high-ultra without frame lock, super stable 59-60 with v-sync and frame locks on. Had a little stutter here or there, but overall I’m really happy with overall performance with the knowledge it should be a little more optimized and polished come launch.

I guess I’m going to use this space to throw some criticisms/praise at the general game, since they don’t really fit in the other sections for feedback.
Criticisms:

  1. I absolutely despise the new Plasma Pistol visual design. It is way too rounded. It literally looks like you’re holding a doughnut with a little slice cut out. The fire rate for semi-auto firing it does too much damage with too slow a fire rate, I would have liked to see something similar to H:CE’s Plasma Pistol as far as fire rate/damage goes.
  2. Slide and Sprint both feel slightly useless. It might be just a design decision difference since I mostly play older shooters, but the 10% added movement speed to sprint doesn’t feel worth losing the ability to shoot/popping up on the radar. Similarly, I can only really see the slide being useful in a map designed with smaller spaces (like the hidden tunnel/drop on Bazar). They feel like they are present in the game just so that players who are used to them have them, but they don’t actually fit the game.
  3. In the weapon drills, the SPNKR actual rocket speed feels very slow. It seems a little better in the actual bot matches, but still a bit too slow.
  4. There should be a way to either turn personal AI off, or to limit their commentary to some degree. I don’t need to be told every single time I pick up a grenade or gun. I ran up to the item, I know I picked them up.
  5. We need some way to either customize Spartan Chatter, customize our Spartan’s Voice, and /or select what kind of general speech is used. A Spartan yelling out “over yonder” is both completely immersion breaking and also 100% useless. I would like to see maybe some sort of actual military come in and let you guys know what works and what doesn’t because a lot of it just doesn’t work.
  6. I feel like TTK is just a hair too fast, and after some extensive testing and talking with all my Halo friends at my house while we were playing, it 100% feels like shields are dropping to standard ballistic weapons just a little too fast. Even something like 1 second longer to drop shields with an AR on full auto would improve that feeling IMO.

Praises:

  1. I gotta say, I ADORE the weapon sounds/design in the game. Sniper, Sidekick, Pulse Rifle are all highlights for me, but they really all sounds fantastic. Very pleased with the weapon/equipment sounds.
  2. You guys did a great job of bringing the game back to its’ roots. I wasn’t a fan of H4 and never played H5 since it hasn’t come to PC, but H:CE-ODST are some of my all time favorite games, and I plan to keep playing them for as long as I can. Halo Infinite felt like what Halo 4 should have felt like. Building on the groundwork without changing the entire identity of the games’ playstyle.
  3. Map design was awesome, multiple paths, lots of verticality, loving the weapon racks on the walls.
  4. Awesome idea to make the Grappling Hook and other equipment an “X number of uses” setup, as that was something I was really worried about from the trailers and interviews we had prior to the Test Flight
  5. The more realistic redesign on the Battle Rifle is SO WELCOME. It looks and sounds like a real firearm again. I love the slightly slower burst, and the heavier sounding rounds.
  6. The Assault Rifle being an actual usable weapon even at near-mid range is fantastic, as an avid shooter it’s so nice to see.
  7. I had all my Halo friends who live locally over to try out the Test Flight and all of them were very happy with it. It is awesome to be pumped for the next Halo again, thanks so much 343!

My setup:
AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
32gb RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX1060 6gb
Acer SA230 Monitor 1920x1080 60hz

This is pretty much my experience all the way to the end of the flight. Overall I really enjoyed it despite some technical difficulties! I know this is an older build so I am curious to see what problems we had during the flight were already noticed and fixed and what new ones presented themselves.

Starting on 7-29-2021

When changing cosmetic options I noticed that it lags between changed and sometimes, even after backing out and returning to the selection menu, won’t accept the change at all. This was especially noticeable with prostheses. I also noticed that changing the prostheses sometimes re-loaded armor parts back onto the model when they weren’t supposed to be there.

When selecting parts of the armor core to play with, it’d randomly load the armor onto the prosthesis as well. Sometimes what would happen is I’d go from having an arm prosthetic, turn it off, and the prosthetic on the leg would go back to a normal leg with armor (or sometimes a prosthetic leg with armor). Same would happen if I turned off the leg prosthetic but the arm would go back to normal. This armor pop in issue is kind of tedious getting it back to normal.

Audio cut out weirdly during some matches, making the audio focus on the grunts and breathing and muffling the weapon sounds, background music, and A.I.

Load times for matches are sporadic at best. Sometimes it’d be a few seconds between loading weapon types in the firing range and sometimes it’d be 30 seconds to a minute. Loading into matches were anywhere from 30 seconds to almost 2 minutes and that’s if the game itself loaded and connected me. I had a case where when loading the map it then glitched and gave me a “can’t connect, unable to join” error but every time I clicked okay it’d try loading the map/game again and give me the error again. It went on in a loop for about 2 minutes or so until I stopped the game.

Sensitivity for mouse is a little weird and very difficult to fine tune. It’s even more difficult to figure out how the controller mapping works, especially since I’m used to MCC’s controls. Left Stick being turn and move and Right Stick being up and down really threw me off. Turned out that southpaw was default for some reason and it was fixed the next game. It was also hard, once this problem was fixed, to actually fine tune the sensitivity settings.

Sound design is kinda weird. Needler, Plasma Pistol, AR, and Plasma Carbine all feel muffled. Like you can hear the reverb from the shots firing but none of the classic sounds come through very strong. Plasma Grenade’s signature charge before exploding is way too quiet, if it’s there at all.

I also wish the Battle Pass was more like MCC’s unlock system. I much prefer getting to pick and choose what I get and/or pickup. There should also be non-challenge based XP gain, much like MCC.

Sliding is not very interesting. There’s no incentive for it and not much changes from running to sliding and back. I wish sliding caused you to pick up more momentum as you slid down a hill, ramp, or set of stairs and then threw you forward if you jumped out and started running.

Starting match countdown shouldn’t flash at you in bright colors. That’s just not great to look at and I miss the countdown noise.

Game doesn’t always show the end of game screen with all 4 spartans standing together and instead black screens until the main menu loads with the stats.

Couldn’t quite get a handle on Bulldog’s reach, mid range it was too far away but up close it still didn’t do a lot of damage.

Armor Coating’s wouldn’t load their symbols in the menu for a time, and neither would images for armor parts.

Audio doesn’t always remember my original settings when I launch the game and get to the main menu. Goes from loud to quiet to loud again once I’m fully in the main menu.

Surprised voice type isn’t an option in Spartan customization. Was hoping it would be selectable in the game but instead you can only change it via the Waypoint app.

Sometimes the game beginning and ending shows that it’s just me and not a whole team.

There should be an option in armor coatings to select “Show Owned” and KEEP it as show owned even when you leave the settings and Armor Hall. Having to re-do the “show owned” setting every time was slightly annoying.

No 360 spin option to look at character in the Body settings, there should be one.

Can you earn the in game currency via playing? If not, you should be able to. Challenges load way too slow and there aren’t enough of them to earn XP with. Was able to power through all challenges pretty quick and was stuck waiting on the daily one to recharge. They fixed this by the end of the flight, where I just had permanent “Play any match” challenges but at the start it wasn’t like that.

Grenade bounce is near perfect.

Punch range is weird, can’t pin down the exact area where punching will thrust me at the enemy but when it works it works and you LAUNCH people. Wonder how that’ll feel or if it will be any different with the energy sword.

Update 12:46pm EST 7/31/2021 Version 199229.21.07.20.0001.flt002int:

Should be a way to apply the custom Weapon Offsets to all weapon types in settings.

Settings menu flashes white when I try to open it while in a game, either in weapon drills or multiplayer itself.

I didn’t notice or see a timer for when the cloaking pickup was about to end it’s run and a lot of the ammo/grenade counters and the radar were really small on the screen. I’d almost wish those were a resizable setting in the settings menu.

Got my first crash 7/31/2021 at 3:03pm est

Dead pixel line on the game screen about a third across from the right of screen. It was part of the game as it showed up on stream.

Game crash 7/31/2021 at 4:17pm est

Game disconnected multiple times. Only played 1-3 games because of it. 8/1/2021

Bot Slayer Bazaar never loaded for me so I only got to play the first two maps.

Sensitivity and turn settings reset for no reason after launching the game.

Stuck in a loading screen for 3 minutes 10:52pm EST 8/1/2021

Took me into a game but didn’t let me play despite there being an open spot. I was stuck as a spectator.

Took me into the black loading screen for a few minutes and then brought me back to the main menu saying “Back to the main menu for inactivity” when all I was doing was waiting for the game to load.

Game crashed every time I tried to alter the keybindings to show the game score. Specifically if I changed it from default (tab) to another key and then went to change it back to default, it’d crash. Resetting keybindings to default didn’t work either. This eventually fixed itself after I turned off my computer and came back the next day.

Loaded me into a game in sound alone. I could hear the game but it was a black screen otherwise.

The Friend or Foe tag. In Halo 4 MP I’d have the hardest time actually seeing the enemy due to how garishly color coded the maps were to red and blue and I always felt bad because I just thought my skills weren’t up to snuff with my poor reaction speed. But with the FoF tag I can SEE everything, the maps can be whatever colors they want and enemies are clear. Now, my skills still aren’t up to snuff but I really appreciated this new system for the accessibility AND I really enjoy running around with my custom colors on a map.

Hopefully this is of any use to the devs. I really enjoyed what I played and I can’t WAIT to play again with friends and family!

Left click and right click to enter and select UI elements shouldn’t be a thing. Most games have you left click to select, where you’ll be shown information and a preview of what you’ve selected. After selecting a UI element, most coherent games make an enter button visible, or have you double click the UI element. And when it comes to equipping certain armor pieces, the check mark shouldn’t be a thing, it’s too small and hard to notice, at first I assumed entering the UI element for an armor piece then clicking the armor piece would equip it, but apparently not.

I just loaded in a game and couldnt spawn. started as spectator, but there was no HUD and all i could do is watching the players play and swap between them, the game wouldnt spawn me to join

This. Also the check mark cant be checked with a controller when on PC, i had to use my mouse to check it

  • This has been iterated a few times, the build only utilizes roughly 40-60% of my GPU on the above specs. - The build initially had the scoreboard mapped - however it has been unmapped and will crash when bound to any button. - Framerate around the 70s on all settings, with a slight dip on ultra. - I had one game where my interact button was bound, however it straight up just didn’t work. - On higher FOVs there is some strange scaling with the size of you weapon/hand models and your spartan torso/legs (besides the obvious floating legs when you look down). - Sprinting (holding shift) and pressing alt to change grenade types has resulted in a crash to desktop multiple times. - Some customization menus drop the framerate significantly - I believe it’s the ones towards the end of the armour core options. - Strange that no fullscreen options/functionality were present, as well as setting your resolution and having options that will adjust your refresh rate accordingly (1920x1080 @ 60hz, 1920x1080 @ 144hz, etc…) - On Ultra settings (not sure about other settings) when shooting enemies without shields that generate blood, you can see white squares come out of the target. Most noticeable on Bazaar when scoped in with the BR at long ranges.

I played alternating between the above said monitor, an ultra wide LG at 2560 x 1080 (32 bit) (75Hz) and was at a steady 70FPS but also would switch to a second monitor at 1080p uncapped to 144fps and i would average about 90fps. Also ran the game between low to ultra settings and in the multiplayer sessions it ran very smooth. The only time i had a significant amount of drop frame rate/visual problems was in the academy gun gallery when ran it in ultra high settings.
Overall the multiplayer ran smooth, the only mentioned that i directly reported in game were some of the new weapons (specially in the gun gallery) that seemed to be broken.
I was super impressed by how smart the BOTS were. I seemed that as the days of the tech test would progress, so did the BOTS difficulty.
Glad that Sunday night we got to play some PVP for a 4v4 and it was intensive as by then all of us memorized the maps so good that the action was fast and fierce.
I understand that this is an older built and the obvious bugs were pointed out by most but performance wise, man I’m impressed, and I want more!!!
Hopping that we get to experience a newer build very soon, can’t wait to test this on console! Thank you 343!

Playing with controller I’ve used 10 sensitivity since halo 1. 10 on mcc on pc feels incredible but infinite it did not feel smooth or fast at all. I was struggling aiming bad because of it and I hope it is something that’s addressed. Way too slow

I hope newer builds have some of these PC FPS problems figured out for the most part it has been unplayable all weekend, but I’ve posted enough about that already. Something simple I’d like to see changed is letting us select the color options from the first menu where you can see all of them. Picking a color and then having to go into another sub menu to check the little box seems like an extra step just to have it. I don’t mind that sub menu since it gives extra info but I dont think you should have to go into it to select a color.

Please add an option to toggle chromatic aberration for the actual game/3D environment, there’s only one for the UI.
You can only turn it off by switching Effects Quality to low.
