Within “Body & AI” option. In “AI Model” and “AI Color” sometimes when hovering over the options, they will display a duplicate one you’ve already selected.
For example, my AI Model is “Circ”, however, when hovering over the other options, Circ also appears sometimes in the 2nd or even 3rd slot. The same also applies with the colour. I chose “Bloodhand” yet the same is happening there.
This can happen with any of the choices, mine just happened to be “Circ” for the model and “Bloodhand” for the colour.
EDIT: ON STEAM
For some reason I never got the “pre-invite” email, nor did I get a notification in Halo Waypoint. BUT, I just got a notification 6ish hours ago along with a steam key. YAY!!! Maybe something to work on for the next flight though, I would have been on much sooner if I had known

2080ti, 9900k, 32GB ram, 1440p. I get 55-60 fps on lowest and highest settings. Only dropping render resolution all the changes my fps to around 80. But the stutter is so bad at all fps values, it feels like it it running at 15fps.
Oddly enough, when I unplugged my mouse and plugged it back in during a match (razer mouse, profile issue) my fps actually jumped up to 130s for only a few seconds and it was buttery smooth. I closed my mouse software hoping for a permanent change, but that didn’t do anything.
I’ll probably boot up my PC with nothing running and see if the game performs better.
BUT, every other game performs perfectly fine on my system. So I’m still looking at you, 343 >.>
Just a quick minor gripe. Would love to see players fly back after getting hit by the skewer kind of like the warthog in the preview for e3.
"UI & Live (Battle Pass, challenges, Store) The link is there but when clicked it says something is missing. I have no stats and was trying to purchase a Battle pass.
Can run the weapon drills no prob! But, when i go into the bot arena it finds match just fine then goes to load up and then goes back to menu? cant get past that would love to try it out vs some bots!
Issues I’ve encountered so far:
- When being in a party it seems like the Bot slayer lobbies were overfilling and then kicking people at random, often times splitting parties. - Stuttering issues, will update graphics drivers post… post, and follow up with results. Updated (7/31) : Updating Drivers and restarting PC seems to have largely fixed this issue still some occasional stuttering but it is playable at the very least. (1080ti GPU, i7 7700k @ 4.6ghz) - Game launch loading times inconsistent and often times very long. (roughly 3-5 min) (970 evo pro SSD) - Escape menu and scoreboard will be active but not visible (possible cause: if opened and closed in a quick manner.) - Server lag(?) causing inputs to get “stuck” for a second to a few seconds, making me move in seemingly random directions well after my input has stopped. Updated (7/31) : This problem seems to have disappeared, most likely the problem was server load which might have stabilized after the first day. - Some settings not saving upon game close. Updated (7/31) : Changing push to talk keybind crashes the game, I believe this is well known. Someone in my group was having grenade swapping crashes when using alt to change grenades. I have ping set to LAlt and it works fine, not an issue with the LAlt keybind but an issue with the “Grenade Swap (or change)” key bind. - Voice chat re-enabling every match load. - Weapon Duplication bug on LiveFire, if 2 people use the interact key on, say the Skewer, AS it respawns both players get the weapon with full ammo. Only able to make this work one time so far. EDIT : It appears as though the duplicated weapon does no damage and disappears on drop or death. - I use a HyperX Alloy Elite keyboard and using my media keys on the keyboard appear to also be bound to things in game. Example: When pausing music right before a match starts and we are introduced to our team my pause button will queue a grenade throw and once we are able to start and move in the match my character will throw the grenade. This also works in the game as well just without the delay. - When getting kicked from some matches sometimes you will receive a “Kicked from match due to inactivity” popup that will continue to be spammed on your screen even after closing the popup. The only way I resolved this was by forcibly exiting the game via Alt+F4. - When joining a game in progress on Bazaar audio seems to be either missing or muffled for the entire match duration.The game has been a blast so far I’m happy to be apart of the testing process. I hope you guy get what you’re looking for out of the testing weekend!
Downloaded the Insider build on Steam, however, I wasn’t able to get it working via Proton 6.3 or Proton 5.13 on Linux. For Proton 6.3, it quits soon after trying to launch it with an “Unhandled exception: illegal instruction in 64-bit code (0x000000014313576c).” On Proton 5.13, it hangs when trying to add process for the game ID.
Switching the push to talk keybind to Caps lock crashes the game for some reason
on pc, steam, can’t even play the game. just get 3 loading dots, top left of screen on a black screen and then the game exits.

I tested the game at a resolution of 80% of 1440p. I have found that across all graphics presets (Low, Medium, High, Ultra) GPU usage remained at a stagnant 85% and that CPU usage stayed at around 54% (these percentages fluctuated ±2%). VRAM usage goes from Low at 89% to Ultra at 96%. Even at LOW, the game fluctuated between 56-61 FPS and never managed to lock, the graphics settings only gaining about a 9 FPS average gain on high/ultra settings. It may be that VRAM is bottlenecking performance, but none of the graphics settings necessarily address VRAM in a way that boosts FPS.
Other general notes
Storage configuration numbers within the game have issues with kerning. General audio mixing issues. Poor loading on an SSD, both from a first time boot and when matchmaking.
I appreciate the Razer Chroma support, small details are great. Solid key binding support.
issue #1 the game isnt recognising my gpu in the menu`s where it says display adapter it says disabled at all and it feels like its slightly hurting performance with stutters frequently, running a 3080 ti, 9700kf, 32 gb 3200mhz running at 4k also my geforce overlay for performance is showing cpu and gpu usage but not fps 99% fps and render latency
issue #2 when lowering the resolution scale it i flickers on the icons for the unlocks in the pass the main image of the item is mostly seeable but flickers around the edges.
not much of an issue but the movement seems abit sluggish is the camera movement during gameplay.
I really would like to know the size of the preview, anyone could say it please?

What settings do you use? I am having 45-50fps on a 1070 too with a ryzen 5 3600 on medium
I can play matchmaking with my stupid little gerber xbox but i get kicked out of every match on my nasa spaceship computer
It would be nice if you could make 2 different keybinds for zoom, 1 to hold on weapons such as the AR where you don’t get knocked out of ADS, and 1 to toggle for scoped weapons.
With 3900x and RTX2080S I was able to maintain ~90fps on medium, my biggest concern is that animations and camera are again not interpolated above 60hz(just like in Reach/H2A back in the day). The game lacks exclusive fullscreen option which is very important for FPS games and I feel like ADS/Zoom sens are not properly scaled with fov when keeping default values. Infinite does not allow me to remove depth of field which is a bummer.

After launching Halo Infinite on Steam, a black loading screen appears with three dots in the upper left, but then the game crashes once Halo music starts playing after a few seconds while still in the black loading screen.
I am getting this crash report: halt information: TDR (HR=0x887a0005, Breadcrumb: <Breadcrumbs Disabled>): The GPU has hung, crashed, or been removed. Please look at TDRBreadcrumbSummary.txt for more info.
I have a 970 GPU, and it seems like people with this issue have the 900 series as well.
Any advice for us?
343 needs to be made aware of this issue as it is affecting a lot of people.
