Why do all of the daily challenges have give the same amount of XP? Completing 4 games should give you more than 100XP which is what you get for completing 1 game

I agree it doesn’t make any sense. I want to level my battle pass up faster but this isn’t helping. Maybe I shouldn’t have spent all of my points on bundles
so pre update and post update performance changes on my system at least
ps. this isnt a whinge i am loving this preview but just a look at pre and post update and hopefully some answers on the display adapter issue.
running on
windows 10 and 11
9700kf
3080ti
32gb 3200mhz
stored on a nmve ssd
4k monitor 60hz
all on low settings and render scale set to 55%
pre update:
40-50fps
99%:35-45fps
render latency 7-15ms
cpu: 50%-60%
gpu: 40%-50%
post update:
consistently hitting 58fps
99% 55fps
render latency 3-10ms
cpu: 98%-100%
gpu: 40%-60%
on 4k all on ultra which is where it should be im still getting the same fps but the render latency is at 10-25ms
i also turned the low latency mode to ultra in the nvidia control panel
so it looks like they unlocked the cpu side of things to fully use the cpu which has helped but the gpu is still a problem the preview still refuses to recognise my gpu at all any one else having this issue? the issue can be seen in the settings under video on display adapter it says disabled.
the experience is quite enjoyable when i set everything to low and render scale to 55%.
hope their able to fix this issue.

You know that if you have a 60Hz Monitor you can’t see more than 60 FPS right? You might want to get a better monitor.
Sadly I don’t know how to fix your problem though
Please make a way to only mute 1 person in matches

> 1) The lack of consistency between aim sensitivity from hipfire to scoped in. I’d like this to be 1:1, and currently I have to mess around with multipliers to get it kind of close but it just isn’t. This makes it incredibly difficult to build up any type of muscle memory.
>
> 2) I saw someone else comment this but there seems to be some weirdness with just aiming around in general. The post I saw described it that they couldn’t draw a perfect circle, and that it feels like it’s trying to follow either X ↔ or Y
but never a combination of both.
I’m not sure exactly what it is, but it’s just off.
>
> 3) As Charlie alluded to in your clip, and I’ve seen others share this as well, there appears to be straight up input delay happening, which obviously will throw shots off.

> Particularly for me the sniper feels horrendous because it is affected by all 3 of these factors at the same time, while also zooming in too much on it’s first zoom. I’ve played Halo for 20 years and have been a good sniper in all Halo games. This is EASILY the worst I have been at sniping in a Halo game. I can barely hit any shots when I’m trying to flick my scope onto an enemy. I can only sometimes snipe someone if I set up my crosshair in anticipation of where a bot is going to walk, and then I pull the trigger early enough where it won’t be thrown off by the input delay.

i have also experienced this too. Plus there is a sluggishness or heaviness in the aiming when swiping the mouse, and when compared to mcc, there is a substantial difference in the smoothness and responsiveness of the cursor. I played on controller and never experienced this.

> have noticed some UI issues after latest patch such as armor icons not displaying properly, and if you switch between menus to quickly you can get a black background with menu still overlaying. Frequent server disconnects are common, sometimes takes upwards of 5 tries to get into a match. Mouse and keyboard play feels really good and responsive. have noticed using Grapple shot my Spartan will more times than not rubber band to impact point at crazy speed then bounce back, and be killed by nearby opponent as if using that equipment can cause sync issues between server and client.
this is hardly what i would call good performance, especially when the maps are nowhere compared to battle royale games. This fps pales when compared to Apex and fortnite. Although I’m confident that 343 would already know and will work on it
BUG (PC)
Cause: Joining a game in progress
Result: Unable to spawn, have to leave the game.
Frequency: Occasional.
Hi there, first of all the game is absolutely amazing, gameplay is awesome and so is the graphics
BUT
Performance is utterly bad, almost unplayable, I have a 5900x and a 3080 FE and the game is like 50% usage of the gpu, with really low or inconsistent frames, really really bad, I really hope this gets fixed because the game is coming out amazing, I really loved the gameplay.
Edit: oh yeah and please add exclusive full-screen. And impulse triggers (which Xbox has)
And thank you for HDR on pc.

well the graphics isn’t something phenomenal, but on my 1650 super there are issues with the game being able to put out graphics that have decent saturation and the sharpness is definitely not there with the streamers that I have watched, which is weird.
- Low FPS coupled with only using half my GPU and CPU so optimization clearly needs work. - Hip fire feels great but ADS feels off for some reason. Even with a 1.0 sens multiplier there seems to be some lowering of sens. Need an option for relative ADS sens and monitor coefficient. - Screen shake present even with screen shake turned off. - FULLSCREEN OPTION IS A MUST. Forcing Borderless Fullscreen is a terrible design decision. - Title screen UI that shifts with mouse movement has to go. It’s a terrible experience - UI in general is boring and uninspired. MCC should be the direction the team goes. Minimalistic UI’s scream low budget/early access. This is a AAA game. It’s needs a AAA UI. - The screen blur effect that happens while ADS’ing is bad.Everything else feels great. ADS sensitivity and how it relates to hip fire sensitivity is the only major issue outside optimization. Currently ADS’ing with any weapon on mouse feels terrible.
After the match, opening the settings menu during the level screen, the settings menu will appears behind the level screen.
Initially the game didn’t start (amd video driver 21.6.1), after updating the video drivers to version 21.7.2 the game started correctly.
In game The performance is still too low, with a ryzen 7 2700x and a radeon rx 5600 xt at low settings I can barely do 40 fps.
To apply any changes to the graphic settings I must exit the game. Sometimes it doesn’t save controller or fov settings.
I encountered a problem in the aim assist by controllers, some weapons like the AR have too much aim assist and others like the Sniper have none at all (fov 95 and I use original xbox one controller).
Sometimes in Recharge map there are absurd frame drops resulting in poor graphics quality and fluidity (I use min frame rate at 28).
The mouse and keyboard work really well.
The bot at Marine and odst it’s very strong at using grenades, but sometimes the AI has problems and bots stop and don’t shoot.
The maps are very nice even if they are a bit too vertical.
Apart from a few technical problems the game is absolutely solid and fun!
Running the most recent update with the following system:
Ryzen 7 3700X
RTX 3080
32 GB RAM
4k display
I have my internal resolution set to 67% and this lets the game be playable. 70+FPS on the Recharge. Bazaar stays in high 50’s to 60 fps with no major drops in fps. I can play both of these at full 4k around 40-50 fps. Live fire though is super choppy and idles at 40-50fps with a 99% fps of 25.
CPU usage stays around 80-85% while GPU usage only gets to 20% max.
Attempting to rebind push to talk crashes the current build. Also if I turn my PC off my keybinds reset as does my sensitivity. Also everytime I restrart the game the fov also resets

Here is some feedback I gatherd over the past days, thanks for the invite!
Had issues starting the game, had to go into game files under hardware ( C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MGS Test App 6\data\hardware ) and rename all the files there to random things.
Audio design and music seems really good right now, huge step up from Halo MCC.
Presentation wise everything looks really really nice, everything from the little icons to the menu looks slick and functional
Matchmaking:
Gaining Xp at the end of the match doesnt feel too impactful, there is no audio other than the background/menu music, some sound here would really make the difference.
There seems to be no audio for xp, leveling or upgrading battlepass.
Had to play on a laptop with 2 fps, so can’t comment more on multiplayer.
Weapon drills:
A very nice system for getting a better understanding of each weapon! Also fun to have the highscore sytem to push yourself further.
Hoping to see the 3star and scoring aspect give some kind of reward as an encouragement to achieve better scores with all the guns. Potential for weapon skin unlock for 3staring all challenges for a gun.
weapon Drills don’t seem to keep your score and Rating.
-Star rating seem to disappear after doing a challenge on a higher difficulty for a gun
-Highscore seems to disappear upon relogging
Had a gamecrash during weapon drills - reson unknown
Customization:
Hard to see what is unlocked and what is not. Need better visibility (without filters)
Lots of sub-menus that make navigating anoying and at some times frustrating. Drop-down-menus would improve some areas
Spartan seems to disappear when you open the battlepass through the customization menu.
Filters are not universal and goes away once you leave the menu. I’d recommend making them universal (specially when it comes to owned/unowned items)
Would be nice if we could zoom in and out to see the spartan from a greater distance and not just rotate it. Especially for when it comes to colour. I would like to see the entire spartan, not just top torso minus legs without having to click on the colour.
Weapons seem to have an extra menu for coating for no reason? Might be because we’re missing context at the moment.
Shop:
The design and presentation is slick and easy to understand.
Not a big fan of the new item every week formula. Hoping there will be a parts of the store that is permanent where you can more actively look forwards to what you want to buy. Having some items rotate is no problem, just not everything.
Personally I am hard against the possibility to purchase credits for real money ruines the fun of unlocking an expensive gear piece because you COULD’ve just purchased it for real money, and it also caps out how much a piece can cost because people have the chance to spend real money on it. And it would be abusive towards the player to have a really expensive piece at the same time as tempting them with the possibility to use real money. (saving up for a really expensive piece is really fun, at least I personally think so)
Battlepass:
Some challenges seems to not work consistently. After playing two matches only one of them counted towards “Practice makes perfection” (Play any matches) and durring those two games where I got both kills and assists, no assists counted towards the weekly “team player” (Get assists) challenge.
The battlepass itself is, well, it’s a battlepass. I’m a little disappointed to see the same stale concept for a battlepass here in halo infinite as well. I would love to see it done in a more interesting way than just a linear path. Here is a video I made almost 2 months ago talking about halos battle pass and what I wish to see from it. Battle pass feedback starts at 3:55
First off, let me just say thank you. The gameplay here is excellent. Absolutely no complaints from me and you’ve definitely got a winner on your hands in terms of how it feels, and possibly also, how it’s balanced, although I played waaay too little to actually comment on that one.
Bugs I experienced:
On First Startup:
-
Infinite Loading
On Second Startup: -
Had to copy in the @ from an external source when signing into my email because I couldn’t make that symbol in the provided field.
-
“My account was not authorised to play Halo Infinite”
On Third Startup: -
Got stuck in a loading for a game that never started.
-
If you die while clambering up a ledge, your dead body gets stuck in that animation.
-
If you use a powerup just before the game ends, it applies to the post-game screen. For example, using an active camo just as match ends will show your Spartan as camouflaged in the victory team lineup screen.
I would also like to see some optimisation on the performance side if possible. The game runs well enough so it’s definitely playable, but I’m well above the minimum specs in every aspect, and can’t get consistent 60fps no matter what I turn off. I’d assume that Campaign may be a bit worse on this end eventually, so I’d definitely wanna see some improvements there.
