When launching Halo Infinite I get stuck on black screen with 3 dots in the top left. Everything is fully up to date but it never pushes through to the main title screen.

Same exact issue happening to me.
Specs:
Intel i7-4770K @ 3.50 GHz
Nvidia GeForce GTX 970
16 GB RAM
I’ve tried everything I can think of.
Uninstalled and reinstalled the game on both my hard drives. (main hard drive with my OS on it being a 250 GB SSD, the other one being a 1TB HDD) Updated my drivers. Updated Windows. Verified my game files via Steam. Nothing has worked. Every time I launch the build, it just consistently sits on the initial black loading screen with three dots for about 2+ minutes, then I sometimes hear what I assume is the menu music, immediately followed by crashing to desktop.
Maybe it’s because I’m on HDR, but there’s no brightness settings, nor are there white-point and black-point setting options. I tried going to “Screen Calibration” in Video settings, but its just a screenshot of the game with no user interface (no interactable buttons to set things like brightness, nor any text that indicates you set brightness there). Some clarification on this would be very helpful!
So, about Bots, i played few games of Bot Slayer, it’s kinda cool and a relaxing game mode. Idk if there is some elo system for player to play against better bots as your elo ranking goes up or if it was the same bot difficulty i got (But could be cool to have that kind of feature if it’s not the case)
I noticed that AI succesfully avoid grenades and try to crouch spam and straff a bit, using weapons on the map, throwing nades, jumping and moving as a group, but still kinda easy imo. I never have a lose game or a close victory so that’s why i feel like it’s a relaxing game mode.
AI is relatively strong when they are all together, you die quickly so that’s nice !
I think you guys have done a good job with AI, bots seems almost human, but i really think that you can make them a bit more difficult to have closer game at least, a bit more challenging. Made them straff quicker, crouch more often, and an elo system could easily encourage new players to play against bots to get better before going PvP and getting destroyed by veterans (Also a good way for vets to warm up against more challenging bots)
I hope my feedback gonna be usefull ! Have a nice day ! I’m waiting to test other things
Suffering from pretty ropey performance, even witha 10900k and RTX 3090.
At 4k, frame rate hovers between 50-90, but there must be a pacing issue, as it feels far far worse than that. The only way to get it remotely smooth, is to drop resolution scale right down and use minimum frame rate set to 119fps. But obviously resolution gets pretty low doing that. Like sub 1080p low, if I had to guess. 60fps locked and with proper pacing, whilst not ideal, would be preferable to what we have now.
Anyone else having issues loading into the multiplayer matches? I find a match and it goes to the loading screen for a bit and then goes back to the main menu. Was wondering if anyone had fixes or anything?
Positive:
I am enjoying the feel and sounds of the weapons. Just the intro itself had me extremely nostalgic. I cannot wait for the full release of the game!
Technical Issues:
-
Changing the Visual Quality only increases/decreases FPS by about 8 from low to ultra. Even with the FPS being at 70-80 or 105 it is extremely choppy. I tried turning certain settings to different visual settings and nothing seems to make a difference. I do not see a major difference in FPS during gameplay but it still seems like it takes a hit without mentioning it which is weird. FPS jumps between 70-80 at the lowest setting on the menu screen. - Changing from Each category such as play, customize, or shop will cause the background to disappear for a good minute or so. - After credits takes a minute to show up and it was just black screened - Binding keys makes the game crash (seems to be working at the moment)Feedback:

Character stance on menu screen looks funny maybe change the stance. - Give the ability to move the cursor over the menu options without having to click on it which ends up choosing the option anyway. Really annoying to go back every time simply to go through the options. You can use the arrow keys but cursor is easierSpecs:

AMD Ryzen 9 5900x - RTX3090 - 32 GB Ram - 2K ResolutionWill return with more stuff. Let me know if anyone has any idea how to fix some of these issues! Thanks
Also add me and lets play something!
The gameplay itself feels great. The guns feel snappy and responsive, and the sprint feels like a natural part of the game.
I’m getting really low FPS on my PC, RTX2080, i7, 32gb RAM - 1080p fullscreen. Changing the video settings doesn’t change much from my experience, everything on Low gives me about 85fps, and everything on ultra gives me about 50fps.
It’s barely using my GPU or CPU, i’m getting maybe 55-60% usage on my GPU, and about 50% on my CPU. For comparison, when I’m running Apex on all settings ultra I’m able to get 190+fps with all settings maxed completely out, and my GPU utlization is 95%+.
When playing on a ultrawide monitor and the resolution is set to 5120x1440. When I enter the armor hall, you cant see the whole spartan model, it cuts off mid torso. Vehicles also sit too high and it cuts off the warthog and scorpion turrets. - also same issue with match preview of the Spartans, its just too zoomed in.
When changing prostheses settings, the model does not update real time with the options. I equipped multiple options then removed them, but it still shows them on the model.
Battlepass preview on the sliding tiles doesn’t show anything.
It feels sluggish, even with reducing graphics to low.
Specs:
Ryzen 5 5600x
RTX 3070 Founders Edition
16Gb 3600Mhz Dual Channel memory.
Resolution: 1080p
The game feels a bit stuttery, I get that its a very early build and the performance will be better on launch but its making the game a bit unplayable.
I’ve also experienced a couple of bugs. For instance, I picked up a needler then immediately picked up a magnum and as a result the needler despawned or clipped through the ground, I’m not sure how. The map was Live fire.
I have lumu selected for my AI, but I keep hearing butler’s voice instead. So far the only fix i’ve found for this is to reopen the game.
Music is amazers,
I think that you should have a non borderless full screen option though.
I am completely unable to get into a multiplayer match I load for a few moments then am kicked back to main menu.
Game needs way more optimization, getting around 60% usage on my gpu.
The graphics are nice, but nothing out of what we can find in games from 3, 4 years ago, so there is a lot of scope for optimization.
The loading when we open the game and before matches seems pretty broken also, even on NVMe SSD.
Other than that, the gameplay feels really good, UI and audio are fine.
I received this message but the link for the install instructions but takes me to a 404 page.

Performance is not great. Playing with an RTX 3080 and an i7-6700K @ 2560x1440p gets me an average of 70-80 fps with everything turned to low.
My first initial reaction to the game, felt clunky back to halo 3 mechanics, although that being said I liked the boosts and hover mechanism for ground and pounds.
the time to kill isn’t the usual 5 head shots but instead 6 took time to getting used to for that.
overall I like the look and feel of the game but I do think the guns sights need to be looked at especially the pistol as it’s quite confusing to look at.
had no stuttering issues or performance other than a bit of lag here and there.
The Game is awesome, but the optimization for AMD GPU’s is poor, because my CPU get only 40% and the GPU use only 50% when it’s on high, and no matter what I do, I got 20-30 Fps, but sometimes I got 42-49, and even on low settings also goes like that.
CPU: Ryzen 7 2700X
GPU: RX570
I’ve noticed that trying to rebind keys crashes my game. Anyone else have this issue?
Every time I load up the MP I am completely unable to get into a match I load for a few moments then am kicked back to main menu. I can load into the drills fine though. It seems this is fairly common.
