Yep that ‘Escalation Mode’ is trash as far as I’m concerned, don’t like it in MCC and definitely don’t want to see it in Infinite.

And there are too many Dynamo grenades, I’d like to see them just turned into others, any others would be fine.

These are my 3 areas that I would like to see improvement on in BTB also. We need more than just a few mongooses and a Warthog at the start. Honestly, I’d scrap that feature all together and have all the vehicles available at the start like good old BTB.

Regarding Jeff, 343i PLEASE use his voice in BTB. It’s one of the best places/most likely places to get multi kills and crazy metals. I want to hear the glory!

BTB had mostly been a dream so far. Am absolute blast. I only have a couple points of constructive criticism.

  1. Something needs to change with the timing of heavy vehicles being delivered. I rarely see them before the end of the match. And when i do, there’s only like one to two minutes left in a game at most. But that’s just been my observation.

  2. Radar range needs to be increased. With how quick things move in this game, enemies are on top of you before you ever see their dot on the radar. TTK feels pretty quick in this game. It feels like a death sentence for an enemy to get the jump on you. I find myself not even looking at the radar anymore because I find it useless. Halo without radar is…off. We need increased radar range, especially in BTB, to have the chance to face our attackers and fight back. It’s much less frustrating to die in a straight up fight with someone then it is to die from getting blindsided from a place you literally just looked at 2 secs ago. PLEASE consider increasing the radar range. I think that would increase the number of fun engagements and firefights. And this isn’t just need for BTB, i think the radar needs a range increase for all modes.

Yes EXACTLY!!! Just start with the vehicles and wait for them to respawn, But as far as an announcer goes, well it doesn’t matter to me personally.

  • Positive - Weapon sandbox. - Postive - 12vs12 - Positive - New Motion tracker - Positive - Allow option to turn off spartan chatter. - Positive - AI voice. - Positive - New Loading screen. - Positive - Player HUD. - Positive - Shield damage visual. - Positive - Music cue when a team is halfway to victory and about to win. - Positive - Assault rifle feels good, jack of all trade weapon. - Positive - Total control game mode is fun. - Positive - Repulsor is fun to use and against. - Positive - Shock rifle against vehicle and player. - Positive - Movement and slide. - Positive - Don’t mind the outline.
  • Feedback - The bot are not operating vehicle or jumping on the seat of warthog. - Feedback - Change the motion tracker range from 18 to 25 meters. Make it feel like Halo 3/ Reach motion tracker again. - Feedback - Melee lunge is a bit short. - Feedback - game engine physics general. - Feedback - Vehicle Field of view. - Feedback - HUD scale. - Feedback - Allow player to have full control of camera after death to spectate around. - Feedback - Vehicle don’t feel heavy. Make it more like Titanfall or Titanfall 2 multiplayer. Having nice view inside the pelican with the teammates. Hearing your AI talking with you, before jumping out of the pelican when the match is about to start. Halo 5: Warzone had a cool intro and outro. Maybe something like that would come back. I really like Modern Warfare Multiplayer intro, it would be cool having a falcon, flying over the map and seeing how the map layout look like above before the match begins. Or maybe having more simple style intro like Destiny 2? Showing your whole team instead of going one by one.
  • Glitch or bug - Feedback - Someone has found a glitch that makes you melee faster and more frequently than normal. Breaks the game. - Glitch or bug - Vehicle can push the flag in CTF. - Glitch or bug - When rapid firing the MK50 Sidekick, two bullet case is coming out instead of one. - Glitch or bug - Sniper, when not scope, the outline don’t match up with the sight - Picture - Glitch or bug - Weapon offset for S7 Sniper rifle is not different when changing. - Glitch or bug - The VK78 Commando and The Skewer, have weird glitch when scope with higher field of view. - Commando, Skewer. - Glitch or bug - Higher field of view, make’s legs disappear, in person view - Picture

Heavy vehicles should drop a little earlier, and frankly the flying ones shouldnt even be considered heavy with how easy they are to take down.
Drop banshees even in the early game. It probably won’t break anything and will give a little variety.

Ghost is a tad too tanky as well.

I am enjoying this but, the grenades, my god the grenades. So many, makes for a bit of a messy gameplay experience.

I’d prefer slightly less grenades so gunplay felt more rewarding.

Then they need to make some guns more powerful again, like they were last week.

Overall, the BTB is fun to play.
I have several suggestions.

  • In classic 4v4 slayer the score limit is 50 points, 8v8 it was bumped to 100 points, so in 12v12 shouldn’t this value be further increased to 150? - In total control there should be 5 seconds scoring delay because it happened to me a few times that the other team didn’t make it on time to even fight for the zones. - Where is Jeff? Getting multikills without him is not as fun anymore. Also, please bring back the iconic “Flag Taken”, “Flag Dropped”, “Flag Stolen”, “Flag Captured” - Cool vehicles like scorpion, banshie and wasp spawns in the last 2 minutes, and in most cases there are games that don’t have them at all because they ended quickly.

I think Total Control could be improved by using the scoreline to determine where the zones spawn. Currently the zones appear to spawn randomly, I just had a game where we were 2-0 up and the zones spawned all around our base which seemed a bit unfair to the other team.

I think it’d be cool if the initial zones are neutral then the zones spawn closer to the base of whichever team loses the previous round. Kinda like how in CTF the flag initially spawns outside the base but after being captured once it spawns within the base to make it a bit easier to defend.

Connection systems aren’t working for my challenges

I would like to see how this game plays where the flag needs to be at your base to score. Seems to easy.

Does anyone else feel like there’s WAY to many vehicle counters on the map. I feel like it’s a death sentence getting in to a vehicle right now. Shock rifle, dynamo grenades, multiple power weapons, grapple shot. Someone ALWAYS has something to shut you down right away from what I’ve experienced.

My impressions. The game is great. The problem is the lobby. I sometimes got stuck in the lobby looking for a match. Sometimes I was in endless search. I sometimes lost communication with servers or staff. This happens when you were looking for departure. At start runs smooth. It also had infinite loads. Had to exit the game to unlock.

I really liked the big team battle mode, the map is really big and offers a lot of possibilities. Big guns and vehicles are really good like that. I prefer that than starting directly with all vehicles and weapons. Having to unlock the doors to be able to get heavy weapons is a good idea that I really like. the intensity of the games is really good many times I have seen myself returning a bad score or winning a game that I will lose in advance. I think big team battle will become my favorite mode and I can’t wait to be able to play it again.

I noticed that it was possible to move the flag by pushing it with vehicles and I’m not sure if this is a new gameplay mechanic or a bug

So far btb is really good and I don’t have much to complain about. The mode rotation though is really bad for me and I think needs to be tweaked. I get Slayer of CTF once and then it’s Total Control for the next three or four games. The mode itself I’m not a huge fan of either, but I’ve never been huge into the zone game modes.

Hello again just some extra pieces of feedback.

  • Plasma Pistol needs a buff in TTK and tracking with the overcharge shot, or at the very least a reduction in charging time. - Pelican drops need to be more frequent and more random. Like random drop locations rather than one at each base. Still drop in like 2, or so but make it so that they drop in different places each time. It’s too predictable. - Again this is a huge one. Tanks can continue to be highly rare and an exciting moment for players when they drop in. But air vehicles and such should be more common and drop a lot more frequently due to how easy it is to swat them out of the sky. - DOUBLE AGAIN. Air vehicles should be able to take a hit from the skewer and survive. Give them time to respond.

Constructive criticism:

A bit late at this point, but the Control game mode needs a rework. Keep the rotating zones, that adds a nice twist. But the objective should follow the tried-and-true standard. Capture and hold zones for points. The more zones captured, the more points earned per second. Still incentivizes capturing all 3 zones, but having the game mode rely on capturing all 3 to score a point is tedious and not fun.

Edit: If there is a standard control mode, just remove “Total Control” all together.
