I love the game so far! My only concerns are the mini map not showing enemies 90% of the time and for games such as CTF, if a team gets air superiority it’s pretty much a guaranteed victory.
Please turn on player collision and friendly fire.
I am killing people through walls and they are killing me through walls. Seems like if the bullet leaves the gun and someone is behind a wall it registers a hit.
Some of the vehicle hit boxes seem a bit small as well through a exploding barrel at a warthog turret and it went right through it. This may be hard to reproduce as I was flying off a gravity lift towards it at the time lol.

- The graphics have improved really well
- The gun sounds have turned out incredibly good
- Assault Rifle (AR) got stronger and is a good all-round weapon
- Variety of grenades
- Random super weapon spans - The range of the motion sensor is too small. Whoever shoots first usually wins.
- The battle rifle (BR) should only need 4 bursts, otherwise it is not superior to the assault rifle (AR) and the pistol.
- The environment scan (control pad down) shows too briefly what is nearby, so that you either have to press it again or do not use it at all.
- The German voice output is completely missing in the beta (but it will come as i expect)
- Fragmentation is unsuitable for tanks. You die too quickly with it and it’s far too rare for that.
- The ghost should spawn right at the base.
- Various crahes
- Green picture disturbances often appear in the menu during interactions. You know this from broken graphics cards
- Fireteam lobby displaying: You cant see good enough in playlist selection lobby, who is in your fireteam. i am irritaded by seeing 3 avatars, although only one mate is in my team.
Please change it so the heavy vehicles like banshee,scorpion wasp etc are not only introduced with like a couple of minutes on the clock. Im a huge vehicle player and this is super disappointing. Dont understand why you thought it was a good idea to do this but please change it. Ideally they should be at the start but if not they need more time for sure and more frequently spawned in. If ot ain’t broke dont fix this has been in btb for a long time and the previous system was perfectly fine.
Banshee is very weak . The bomb and especially the beam needs to be more powerful . Also its way too easy to destroy . Its seems to spontaneously combust. It needs overhauling urgently
Obviously you know about the progression system .it needs to be their at launch. I had 30 kills yesterday In one game and got no rewards . We need a proper ranking system true skill ideally but anything more than just a battle pass. You will lose numbers so quick if no rewards are available.

It is literally a staple of the series that the announcer is there to call out the awesome things that you do in this giant group setting. We need him back. As someone that almost always plays BTB I can’t believe that this is even a question. ALSO: this is likely Jeff’s last game based on his age and health. 343 are you seriously going to barely use the single most iconic voice in Halo in the voice actors last game? This is unacceptable. I cannot stress enough how much this crushes the awesome joy of pulling off a multi kill

Honestly, too many weapons and abilities bully vehicles. I’d say if anything keep the Shock Rifle as a soldier oriented weapon. If someone charges the shock rifle up and blasts a warthog, the energy should chain and electrocute all passengers and if tagged enough will kill off all of them. Only the plasma pistol should EMP vehicles. The electrical weapon types should shred shields and wreck health.
I’d like it for player outlines and the heavy holographic shield damage to be replaced with a more classic or even reach styled damage visual effect. It just takes away from all the hard work the developers made on the armour and weaponry in the game when you can hardly see it. Also, the RvB colours coming back would be really really really really great. Last ammo tally for the HUD instead of the Numbers tucked in the bottom right. I have a learning disability which has me strongly oriented towards visual cues, and halo was one of my favourite shooters because of its visually oriented HUD. I hope that’s something under serious consideration.
Overall I had a blast playing BTB but there are a things that I really think should be addressed

There’s a massive lack of vehicles on the map. I don’t want to wait for 13 minutes for a ghost do be dropped into the middle of the map just to fight over it with 23 other people. Vehicles like warthogs, ghosts, choppers and the mongoose should be scattered around the map. Bases should also have like a tank and 1-2 air vehicles spawn at the start of the match.

The pelican drop is cool in theory but really doesn’t work well. Half the time the vehicle being dropped in gets destroyed before anyone even gets it. The pelican drops should also be a lot more frequent and drop heavy vehicles. I would even go so far as to say that 4+ pelicans should fly in at a time and drop off heavy vehicles at the bases (2 per base).

The vehicles feel incredibly weak, you can literally delete a wasp out of the sky with 1 skewer shot. At least make it 2 so that you have some chance to back off.

The warthog also feels like it driving on an icefield and its armor is made out of cardboard. The turret absolutely deletes people, but that doesn’t do much good if the average lifespan of the vehicle is so low.

Plasma pistol should be able to EMP vehicles and the dynamo grenade is a bit too effective at disabling vehicles.

Turrets and fusion coils should respawn. Being able to lob a noob-cube in someone’s general direction is hilarious, and it would be even better if you do it again.

Why can’t I hear Jeff Steitzer? He tells me exactly what’s going on in arena, so why can’t he do that in BTB? Hearing “Gift from the heavens” tells me nothing, for all I know I’m about to get a plasma pistol dropped on my head, or it could be a scorpion, its anyone’s guess. And if I pancake someone then I want to hear Jeff say it.

AR starts are actually ok, but I can basically laser down people who have a BR with it, which feels like it really shouldn’t be possible. Half of the time I find myself killing someone with the AR at ranges where the BR really should have won.

Why is my fireteam getting filled with random people? I want my friends in my fireteam, not random people especially when there’s 24 people running around on the map. Given that the fireteam outlines still don’t work it makes it all the more difficult to figure out where my 2 friends are because their nametags are buried under the other 4 people who have been placed in my fireteam that I don’t want in there. If I did then I would have sent them an invite (this happens regardless of what the fireteam privacy is set to)

The motion sensor range is way too small, its fine for arena but for BTB it should really be expanded.

Player collision should really be enabled, and the Gravity Hammer is really missing the “Gravity” aspect. There was one point where it actually worked the way you would expect it too on a friendly player. I was shooting someone at the loot cave and was about to die. My teammate walked up behind me, wacked me in the back with the gravity hammer and sent me flying into the air which knocked off the opponents aim allowing me to survive while my teammate flattened the enemy with the hammer.
All in all I had a really fun time, but these are some of the things that I think would make the game even more enjoyable if they are addressed.
Played Big Team yesterday. Love the Map set up and slightly similar to Vahalla.
I like the rooms where you hack the door first then get access to more weapons and abilities. I like the pelican drops for vehicles.
Also, I got a chance to fly the Banshee on this game and have some feedback on it. The vehicle is too fast without boot and needs to be tone down just a slight bit. Also, when using the cannon on the banshee, it only damages the player unlike in other games it dominates. I like the part where it warns the player that the banshee is going to self-destruct, similar to the ghost and other vehicles.
So far so good, but need some tuning up.

When looking at the way halo 2A had it, online multiplayer won’t have localisation. Even the text in mcc is scuffed. Im german too and I’ve been criticizing 343 for messing up the localisation for years. But im happy im not alone here. Maybe one day they’ll change it. I hope halo infinites campaign is atleast localised
Definitely better than H5 BTB, weapons work really well, vehicles are nice too.
- Slayer: it’s just the same, it’s fun. - CTF: I love the changing flag spawn points, it made for some clutch moments. - Total control: never expected to like this mode even more than CTF, I actually prefer this to something like strongholds, but that’s just me.One huge issue: radar just isn’t suited for a huge map, sometimes I died from someone I couldn’t know where he was coming from or, even worse, I can’t ever make any push, mainly because I don’t know if I’m facing just a single enemy or more.
Some weapons maybe are too efficient at descoping from too far.

Heck I’m in Arkansas and I know what you mean because I play in games with people from all around the world except when I’m doing something co-op right here in the US.

I like the way they did the game modes also, it makes it more fun.
Weapon sandbox in btb is spot on however I feel like there are too many dynamo grenades, it feels like when ever I see a vehicle I have a dynamo grenade readily available, I think there should be only one pick up on each side of the map.
Another issue I’ve ran into is that I rarely see any of the more powerful vehicles (banshees, wasps and tanks) due to the escalation mode, I feel like I only see them once every few matches and when they do spawn they only have the opportunity to spawn once (twice on one very rare instance), I feel like the escalation feature needs to be speed up fairly significant and perhaps have a btb variant that removes escalation and just jumps to the deep end.
Other than that, I’m loving this new btb
