I’m having an issue where the game crashes when you’re trying to get into a match. If you crash during the match, it will count as you willingly leaving, and will eventually result in a ban. When you are locked out from the ban, it would be nice to know the time limit in which you are banned.
Having some issues also where I will kill someone or assist in killing them but it will not show. This doesn’t happen too often, but happens enough to notice. Also having issues where it says all the people on my team are offline.
Not feedback, but def on wish list: Could we please know when we are banned so we don’t waste an EXP booster? It would be nice to know before we try to play and are told we are banned.
Experienced consistent crashes as matches loaded in resulting in coming back to a ban. The ban notification does not show until after I try to start a match. Without knowing I was banned, I used an XP Boost which was then wasted.
-Add a quick button for XP Bonus near play game.
-When a teammate drops out of a match the entire group isn’t pulled out of the match. This results in Ban when the group leaves to rejoin each other.
-No classic boop noises when getting into match.
-Sound settings for mic can reset when game crashes.
Both teams should have the same set of vehicles spawn around their base. Having powerful game changing vehicles spawn in the middle of the map doesn’t feel good. A couple more warthogs/mongoose per team would be great as currently it feels as if there’s often a lack of vehicles on the map - The man-cannons and verticality of Behemoth are awesome - The lack of clear lines of sight on behemoth makes the map often feel like you’re fighting in one of several hallways - Plasma pistol should be able to disable vehicles again. There is not enough access to the “electric” weapons/grenades. - Player collision needs to return, the game doesn’t feel like halo without it. What is the reason for its removal? - Grenades/explosions/gravity hammers should exert more “push” force on players, there’s a distinct lack of impact to them right now - Overall reasonable performance in BTB for me so far in terms of framerate - Radar range is MUCH too short, by the time you are alerted of a nearby enemy they’re nearly in melee range - Weapons are feeling pretty good, the drop pods are a neat idea - Dynamic flag spawns are interesting - The randomized zone control spawns sometimes all spawn on one side of the map, or very close together, effectively giving one team a free point - Vehicles(warthogs specifically) die a bit too quickly, they don’t feel quite durable enough - Aiming still feels a bit jank with controller compared to MCC, keyboard/mouse felt better this flight…unsure if anything was actually changed there though - Experiencing somewhat frequent crashes when joining multiplayer matches - Many effects feel lackluster compared to their iterations in the previous halo games(fire, vehicle damage, vehicle explosions, explosion effects, smoke/particle effects, lack of blood decals, lack of the classic halo ragdolls, etc.)

> I was quite excited to play it since I’ve been playing a lot of warzone in Halo 5 recently, but big team battle wasn’t quite what I’d hoped for. The issues with vehicles alone are a problem. Not being able to call vehicles on demand is annoying, as is competing with team mates to get vehicles when they do arrive. When you do get a vehicle its also annoying to find its made of glass, and gets destroyed in record time. Even despite all that they mess with the balance of matches, CTF in particular is totally one sided as soon one team gets an airbourne vehicle.
>
> To me the Halo 5 requisition system nailed it in terms of the Warzone game mode. You could call the right vehicle on demand, but other team could react with their own vehicle or power weapon choices. So the vehicles felt good but weren’t OP, especially as most activities involved people on foot doing a lot of the work (such as capturing an area).

> I honestly think team multiplayer in Halo 5 is just better. Odd situation to be in but Halo Infinite has cured me of my Halo 5 addiction, but I got bored of Halo Infinite in record time, after a few hours I felt it was time to move on. Lets hope there’s some improvements before release.
Thank you someone else feels the same way about the vehicles where they get dropped and how they feel like there tin cans and blow up so fast. your in a damn tank it should be able to take a bunch of hits no problem and i think they should make it that it cannot be hijacked unless the top where you sit is blown off. Otherwise in real life you could not open a tanks top that way you actually can drive it instead of getting it stolen as soon as you get it cuz its so slow. I am hoping that this map is just a good example of what not to do for BTB and they have other maps that are more classic like Avalanche where all the vehicles are right there from the start not being dropped in at the last minute you can’t guard your flag with a tin can tank or warthog, nor can you do it in the last 30 seconds of the game when everyone is trying to get the tank. There needs to be a tank being dropped very early on at opposite sides of the map to have tank shoot outs like we use to in halo 3. Or just have a tone of vehicles all lined up ready to go.Also I personally think regardless of the dumb skins we have to deal with I am sure everyone can agree bring RED VS BLUE BACK FOR BTB would be fine. Or at least MAKE IT A OPTION, In july i found it odd that all the BOTS were blue for that flight, which damn did it make it easy for you to know who to shoot. So make it a option. There are plenty of other game types to show off your oh so special paint scheme but Team based RED VS BLUE or Choose different colors if your color blind. But having Colored teams really helps when your running around who is who.
**For crying out loud why would you get rid of Jeff Steitzer Voice for BTB IF it is lore related I am sorry everyone wants the OG voice that is a fact.ALSO AGREE WITH 12V12 def gotta bring the slayer kill count up to 150 if not 200, personally 200 i think is the correct number 100 kills goes by so fast with 24 people playing it starts then finishesMAKE THE VEHICLES STRONGER AS SAID MANY TIMES ABOVE I get the theme of its a warzone that stuff is getting dropped off but having it dropped off in the middle of the map is just a bunch of people running for the same thing most dieing on the way one lucky person jumps in then gets ripped out of it and doesnt get to use it. two should be dropped at both ends of the map or show up at the half way mark of the game or be there right from the start or simply have a classic BTB where everything is there from the start now that would be epic.**Bring back the OG shotgun so you can do one shot kills the bulldog unless your spot on with your shots isn’t a shotgun and you get wasted by a assault rifle. I hope all of the stuff im saying gets read, and either has already been taken into consideration and already thought of or is already in the works or already has been done, we are only seeing one map but the KILL COUNT, RADAR AND WHERE AND MUCH EARLIER TANKS NEED TO BE DROPPED MUCH EARLIER ALL MUST BE CHANGED TO BRING THE BIG TEAM BATTLE FEEL BACK. AS IT STANDS RUNNING FOR THE TANK IS JUST SUICIDE.
More electricity dmg for chain reaction for Shock rifle.
A continuious shock beam alternate fire with present shock dmg for Shock Rifle
Plasma Pistol NEEDS its one shot EMP vs vehicles back. Shock rifle have 2- 4.
The Banshee needs its banshee bomb to ne able to severly dmg even destroy lightly armored vehicles and heavier like warthogs. And/ or increase its blast radius
The hammer should have higher gravity force and a bit bigger radius. The slower attack should stay to distinguish it more cs Energy sword whoch is tbe quicker single target weapon
Grenades like the frag and even plasma grenade need to enable grenade jumping. Someone that somehow who got access to adjust to its settings. Setting it to 150% for frag and 100% force for plasma is a good place to start
Rocket launcher SPNK needs its rockets to have bigger blast radius. Maybe allow rocket jumping with full overshield.
Overshields duration and strenght needs a larger increase. Its too weak now. Even if having same strenght but lasting infinite or same duration but twice the durability is alot better.<!–/data/user/0/com.samsung.android.app.notes/files/clipdata/clipdata_bodytext_211002_225125_365.sdocx–>
If 343 wishes to keep the escalating vehicles thing in BTB, then I suggest they add a Heavies version of BTB where all vehicles, including the heavier power vehicles, are available throughout the match like they are in other Halo games. This would be in keeping with the “extra chaos” design philosophy of BTB Heavies, and, you know, sometimes it’s more fun to just hop into a tank or Mantis from the safety of your team’s base instead of fighting with the other team over it. So, 343 if you’re reading this, please consider adding BTB Heavies as post-launch content.
Either way, as many have said, the fun vehicles need to be made available earlier in the match. Playing this tech preview I found myself running around on foot 99% of the time and rarely even saw a vehicle that wasn’t a Ghost or a Warthog or a Mongoose.

> Feedback:
> - CTF Flag should be 1-hit melee kill
> - Pelicans shouldn’t have to drop off Warthogs if they already spawn at the base
> - Pelicans need to drop off heavy vehicles like the Scorpion much more often and not at the end of matches
> - Jeff Steitzer needs to be added to this mode, a mode where you get the most medals, it just feels empty without him
> - AI frequency needs to be adjusted, don’t need a quip every time I enter a vehicle or pick up a weapon
> - Grapplejack needs to be button prompted and not automatic, it’s way too easy in this build
> - Enemy outlines in vehicles seem out-of-place, don’t think I should see the driver of a Scorpion through the Scorpion walls
I totally agree with everything you just said. Just add RED VS BLUE as a CHOICE and BUFF the vehicles health up and drop the tanks at both ends of the map not the middle.
Please allow us to turn off TAA. The blurriness cannot be totally overcome with the sharpening filter, so the game is permanently blurry, especially in motion.
The blur genuinely gave me a headache after playing for a short time, it’s like wearing glasses that are the wrong prescription. Please just let us turn it off.
The randomization of weapons and vehicles is ruining the experience for me.
It makes the process of finding a weapon on the map annoying since the spawns aren’t consistent.
It makes it nearly impossible to know what’s on the map so you never know what you might encounter.
It ruins the classic BTB experience of having vehicles be an integral part of the gameplay.
What even triggers vehicles to be dropped in? It doesn’t always seem to happen at the same time for both teams so that just leads to extra confusion. Great way to completely throw a wrench in the balance of an ongoing game.
The ordnance drop system has the same randomness problem but even worse since they apparently can drop almost anywhere. It was extremely confusing hearing one of the announcers (of which there are too many btw, just use Jeff, he’s perfect) talking about ordnance dropping in but having no clue where or what it is.
“A gift from the heavens is inbound” - How in the world is anyone new supposed to know what this means? Since both vehicles AND power weapons are dropped in above how are new people supposed to know if this refers to a vehicle or a weapon? Or anything for that matter? There is so little context given for the BTB stuff that it’s just a confusing jumbled mess.
The vehicles being flown in is a neat idea but is pretty bad in practice.
It causes people to just stand around waiting as the pelican drops it in.
It gives enemies a chance to attack the vehicles before someone can even use them.
Why on earth would you have them dropped in in front of the base, basically in one of the most heated parts of the map?
Please just return BTB to how it works in the Halos 1-3. It wasn’t broken so I don’t know why you thought you had to try to “fix” it.

What?? I didn’t have the chance to try these two scenarios, but I totally agree. The main point of a plasma pistol is to be anti-vehicle. Why wouldn’t it be one shot EMP?
Also, didn’t get a chance to try the Banshee. But again, why wouldn’t it have its trademark banshee bomb? Why downgrade things the players are used to.
After having played a good number of matches I have to say that I really preferred the old BTB system.
Vehicle spawn via Pelican dropship is fun but I think it should be limited to the respawning of what already is on the map (except maybe for some specialized gamemode like Invasion where it could be tied to the combat situation). Every vehicle should be available from the very beginning of the match like it has always been for BTB.
The pistol start, while I can think of a reason for it to be in BTB, just adds tedious busy work to every respawn. As it stands now the combat loop I have seen more often is: spawn > grab a weapon > engage > die > spawn > grab a weapon. Besides this the weapon reafresh is so fast it is almost impossible not to have a BR or VK78 waiting for you.
Lastly I have had a bunch of problems getting into a match nearing the end of the scheduled play session of saturday at 10:00 am PT.
The warthog feels like it’s made out of paper. It’s got no mass and it trip over even from the smallest of rocks and hitting a tree makes it climb up the tree. It’s just too damn light.
It also feels to drift way too easily, which I guess is something to get used to. But combined with the ridiculous lack of mass the vehicle has, it just feels like a toy.
Don’t lock the doors if a player is inside, allowing any player to enter if another player is in the room.
Activate a soft kill boundary for the room just before the rooms items are going to refresh.
I’ve played a match in which 6 of the enemy players went inside, doors locked. So we waited for them to come out from the top to ambush, but it ended in stalemate, we retreated outside and enemies retreated back inside, doors are locked again.
Now 6 opponents are hunkered down in the locked room and about 5 of us waiting with an ambush outside and they know it.
This is a problem because it disrupts the experience and flow of the match and places the opponents in a bad spot with 2 bad options.
Wait until we unlock the room with our prepared power weapons and grenades and likely be decimated.
Walk out into our ambush and likely be decimated.
-If the room doesn’t lock when someone is inside it
will fix this stalemate/ camping problem.
But we want the room to eventually lock so that new gear may spawn so…
either soft kill boundary close to gear spawn time to force players out so the loot room may be used they way it is intended.
Or gear doesn’t respawn while any player is inside.
Having fun. I would like to see assassination brought back though. Disappointing those animations are excluded. I also don’t really like how the heavy vehicle drops are randomized. For example, one match I played had scorpions drop in. Another had Wasps and Banshees. However, out of the dozen or so games of BTB I have played, only twice did these vehicles show up. Once each. Otherwise it’s just been the standard ghosts, warthogs, and mongooses. Hope the drop variety is expanded upon.
