the sniper…Feels weird to me. I can’t explain it other than the initial zoom in feels like it’s too much zoom. It’s hard to justify using it on arena maps. I’m not sure if 5x zoom is the standard for the Halo sniper. Also feels like there is 0 aim assist with it in MP
I do great with it in weapon drills. I got over 40k, but I can’t land any shots in MP.
I can’t hit with it when ADSing (unless I’m very far away) but managed to get a triple kill with no-scopes. I don’t get it, but I do agree that it feels off.

Yeah I feel the same
Sniper is definitely different, but more realistic in my opinion. Will take getting used to, but I enjoy the sound and feel. Try adjusting the zoom rate and your sensitivity in MP if you are going long game with this and other stuff and it might help. I don’t snipe often but, when I played with the sensitivities I got a head shot and a no scope in this last match.
Somethings off for sure. But i feel thats because its 4v4 maps. I can imagine that btb based maps it will feel a lot better?
yeah its weird for me as well i dont even bother ADS i just go for no scopes is what works best for me.
Not really the map for it. Yeah there are good sections, but it’s not a long rang/short range (body shot melee- except the funnel in the middle but you usually don’t get the close range). Those are okay distances. I should win with a BR mid heads up. Change my mind.

its not the map for it imo. But in BTB it’ll wreck.
It feels very off. I would say all Power Weapons and Melee seem overly clunky and I’m not sure why.
It’s probably the map. 5x I believe has been in every game since Reach.
Sounds like others are feeling this too. It’s just too aggressive of a zoom in my opinion. It doesn’t feel smooth. Almost feels like I’m being jerked into the scope of that makes any sense
I was thinking the same. It feels amazing in academy mode, but that’s also because they give you a big open field.
