Love that you can put you progress towards whatever season you want. Another way to make it even more player first could be to let players select which seasonal challenges they want to work on too. It would be nice to be able to chase some specific piece of gear you want but missed out on. Maybe don’t reward XP for past seasons challenges so people can’t XP farm. But if you go back and purchase a past season you should have a shot at earning all of that seasons gear in my opinion. (That one BR skin that got away)

An interesting and cool idea to have the seasonal challenges still be available to do. I’m not sure if they have confirmed that there will be seasonal challenges but if MCC is any indication then season challenges will be there. There will for sure be daily challenges at the very least from the screenshots of the new Halo Waypoint that is coming soon.
Thanks! Yea nothing I’ve seen so far has confirmed or denied seasonal challenges. But like you said it seems like they are going to be using a similar system to MCC. If they add the ability to go back and chase specific gear from past challenges I think it would just add more reasons to come back to the game and play if you aren’t all that excited about the current seasons challenge gear. Plus I’m sure the collectors would love it too.
