If i were you… and this is for sake of staying in the safe… you should replace the “rumor” in the title with speculation… because that is what this is. Speculation based on hints which has far more basis than a rumor… and is not based on leaks or the likes of it.
From what I could tell… that actually seems plausible that they might have changed their vision a bit. BUT… i really reallly really think it hasnt changed much. (which is good in my opinion… not because change is bad… but rather i really really liked the first trailer)
The reason why i feel like not much of the backbone of what then intended to go for originally didnt change is… well , they probably built the slip space engine with certain ambitions in mind that im very sure they want to follow through on.
That… and the first trailer actually showcases alot of classical concepts… like the pelican for example. Master cheif also obviously…
I think if anything really changed is probably the plot of the campaign. Maybe also gameplay that we have never seen… Time will tell… and so will future vidocs hopefully
