Infinite needs to end forced crosplay. Its killing the matchmaking fun

Am i the only one sick of being forced to play against moded computer players? Doubtfull Every time i see a player with 30 plus kills 90% of the time its a computer player. The worst mod an xbox player can do is a moded controller with machine gun pistol. Annoying, but livable . Xbox live should clearly be able to se this based on their internal statistics alone. Their seeming refusal to remove forced cross-platform play from all matchmaking modes is puzzling at best. I’m sure They wonder why more player’s are not more active in halo infinite lol. Well there’s your sign players get tired of others cheating. Pretty simple

So checking your stats I see that you have at least some 300 consecutive BTB matches, I stopped counting after 100.
You do understand that mode is one of the easiest modes to go extremely positive on?
Considering the extremely wide skill range it picks players from, you’re bound to have a few top tier players who runs laps around lower tier players.
I use PC and Keyboard and Mouse, on a good day I can easily get a few games netting 20 or even 30 kills with low amounts of deaths.

So, naturally curious I took the liberty of checking some of these matches you had, looked at some of the players in your matches who you were against that got a high number of kills. What did their other matches look like?
Today you played a BTB: CTF on Deadlock against someone who got 37 kills and 16 Deaths.
Here’s the Kills / Death for that players 5 matches prior to that:
5 / 2
18 / 7
29 / 10
13/ 6
9 / 5

Following your match, that player then went:
2 / 2
2 / 10

Let’s take another who in the same match went 34 / 11
Five prior matches:
16 / 1
15 / 4
9 / 4
10 / 9
1 / 10

BTB Slayer enemy: 23 / 7 in your match. 5 Prior matches:
25 / 7
16 / 6
3 / 11
9 / 11
22 / 4

I checked far more but can’t be bothered to type that much, and basically all but one had fluctuating statlines all over the place, they could have a few matches going double digit kills and then dipping on kills to deaths.
The only one who stood out extremely was a person who went 30 / 0 in a slayer I believe it was, and that was an Onyx player, and that wasn’t the only Onyx player you’ve played against.

So what exactly in the statlines should xbox live discover? Did you check them yourself?
Want to check mine? Here’s a game where I took a whooping 100 damage in total the entire match, and got 33 kills, no deaths.
Then check the rest of my stats and see if there’s something fishy going on.

What do you think?

Do you mean using an Elite Series controller with the adjustable trigger so you can fire faster?

Wait, that’s a thing you can do?

I use an Elite Series 2 controller and it has 3 adjustable settings for the 2 triggers pressure; hard / medium / light press.
The light press setting barely requires you to tap the trigger so you can fire more shots off a quicker pace. Its not possible with a stock controller.

What in the world are you talking about? These aren’t the Halo 2 mod days… :man_facepalming:

Oh it’s just a hair trigger thing lmao okay.

Well I’d like to see a video.

Calling it a hair trigger is probably setting your expectations too high. It’s way shorter than normal but it’s still got more movement than the bumper buttons.

Yeah, mine has short-pull triggers too but it’s busted, unfortunately. That said I think you’re overestimating how sensitive hair triggers are.

Yeah right - as it goes much was written

In context it relates to the stats found on players the OP faced showcasing these supposed “PC cheaters”.
Stats are boring to write out.

It’s a SBMM affair. Not the fault of PC gamers.

We should get a forum bot for that actually @snickerdoodle I think it could be fun and add value to conversation.

Yea. What controller do you use? I think it definitely helps, especially when using the pistol.

Definately helps with the sidekick pistol firing speed. Also strangely enough using the tall stick on the look side can greatly increase accuracy at longer range vs the short stick. However the tall stick at close range sucks. Be interesting to make a controller post to see what people are using. I noticed sensivity and big dead zone difference from stock controllers

Yep! I do use a taller stick on the right analog. I never had to tweak my controls so precisely in a game before. And i still dont think i found the ‘sweet spot’ yet. Its just passable for me as my Plat 1 ranking indicates. lol…

We don’t need to end crosplay all together we just need a opinion to choose for ourselves if we want it on or not.
