Battle Royale is a game mode too. It would be better as a stand alone game imo. How do you know a Halo Battle Royale game would be terrible ? Also it could easily be made to fit the franchise, just like the RTS Halo Wars, the twin stick shooter Spartan Assault, Halo ODST and the Arcade game they released last year, and Apex Legends was made to fit into the Titanfall franchise, and look how well Apex is doing, and Titanfall is not nearly as popular as Halo. I’m hopeful they do something similar and make a Halo Battle Royale one day.
I seriously think the only reason for a dedicated battle royals game would be to give access to halo for more people for free…
otherwise i I say just increase player count in halo infinite and give us the tools to make it in custom games.
edit: actually I want to quote 343 on that one . They said it themselves, they said we aren’t interested in BR but you can make BR with the tools they give us in halo infinite. So that really makes me ask for higher player limit.
I disagree heavily, although I think some form of ODST battle royale would be cool in the future, I don’t think there should be one in Infinite.

I don’t agree. You’re stating your opinion as fact by saying that. It’s my opinion that a stand alone would work better. If they include a Battle Royale mode in a Halo game something would have to drop. Apex worked well, I see no reason for a Halo Battle Royale not to work, but I see reasons for an included mode to cause issues, especially with the anti Battle Royale players.
A stand alone gives them the chance to avoid it, if 343i include it players like you have stated you would stop playing. Modern Warfare made a good decision with Warzone, it’s a free addition players can play or ignore, it’s doing very well too, I can also see that working with Halo. I like some Battle Royale games and I would love to see a Halo Battle Royale at some point.

A stand alone doesn’t work unless it makes sense as a part of the franchise also your point about you being able to “just ignore it” is stupid as you could say that about anything and it doesn’t make it right for example loot box’s can be ignored but they are one of the worst and most hated things by gamers
i do see promise but only is certain circumstances as it would only work with ODST not Spartans also It needs to make sense to exist in halo as halo is great because of the story behind everything meaning the sudden change between fighting the covenant and forerunners to fighting in a battle royal wouldn’t make sense unless they make it based around ODST

Firstly, do not say I’m stupid, or that my comments are stupid. I respectfully reply to you with relevant well thought comments. The same respect would be appreciated. You cannot compare in game content like loot boxes to stand alone games. You cannot ignore the loot boxes in Halo 5 as everything is unlocked through them, but you can ignore a stand alone game, just like I ignore Halo Wars, that’s why I think a stand alone is better imo.
I’ve also stated that a Halo Battle Royale can be made to fit the franchise. Apex Legends was made to fit the Titanfall franchise, why not Halo ? Battle Royale does not need a great story, it needs an identity (Halo) in this case, and it needs to be well made, innovative and fun to play. Again you’re stating opinion as fact by saying it will only work as ODST. In my opinion Halo is perfect for Battle Royale, 343i could make it work, or work with another team to make it.
We have Battle Royale already it’s called Invasion, Big Team, and Warzone.

Because halo is a first person shooter with great lore and backstory which isn’t the combination for a battle royal type of game. Also your point about war zone not fitting in is wrong as it’s a training simulation for Spartans in which the goals make sense

The reason halo isn’t ever going to be a battle royal is because halo was and still is a game made to portray a great and interesting story with rich lore and amazing plot twists which isn’t the case with battle royals and your point about war zone not making sense is wrong as it’s a training simulation for Spartans which by the way is the reason for the multiplayer game modes throughout all the halo games, this is why halo won’t make a battle royal and no this isn’t just my opinion as that seems to be your go to comeback to everything I say as halo would never make a battle royal especially with Spartans as it wouldn’t make sense it would however make sense with ODST which was a one off game, also may I remind you that infinite is the last halo game meaning that there is still not going to be a battle royal of halo.

I don’t agree. Titanfall has a great story and lore but Apex was made to fit perfectly into it. Warzone is a training simulator, why not have a last spartan standing training simulator ? That would be amazing imo. ODST was a one off game but it was intended as an additional DLC for Halo 3, ODST might work as a Battle Royale, but I prefer the idea of Spartans. Also the Halo multiplayer simulation was introduced in Halo 4 as war games, not all the Halo games.
Halo Infinite is not the last Halo. May I remind you that 343i stated a long time ago that the trilogy was changed to a saga, I imagine that is because there is more to come. A saga is traditionally one really long story with offshoots coming in and going out of it. Changing it gives them the option and opportunity to expand. You cannot say there will be no Halo Battle Royale. Bonnie Ross has stated in an interview that Battle Royale is discussed at meetings. That would indicate that they’re toying with the idea, but that does not confirm or rule out a Battle Royale game, or mode.
As previously stated I think Halo is perfect for Battle Royale, but I think a stand alone or spin off is better so that players can avoid it if they want to, like I can pass on Halo Wars. Whether we see one or not remains to be seen, but I’ll remain optimistic, especially as the trilogy was changed to a saga, and the fact 343i have stated that Halo Infinite is a spiritual reboot.

It is the last halo as it is going to end as stated by the developers with halo infinite also Spartans have different training simulations than the ODST so it wouldn’t work also playing as a Spartan would make the gameplay unbalanced as it would be a matter of who shot first, also halo has more lore than both those games combined and the fact is that halo would never make a battle royal due to their focus on story and not all out gameplay meaning a battle royal isn’t in the nature of halo so they would never make a halo battle royal
