Infinite NEEDS a console aim assist buff

This game, unlike the MCC won’t be an even playing field between PC/Xbox players if it remains as is.

If only ever slightly - aim assist needs to be increased and some work needs to be done to smooth the aiming process.

Halo Infinite is fantastic overall, but a slight buff is necessary.

Agreed. some weapons need a slight increase to AA the sidekick and sniper come to mind
Not much mind you, just a touch more, like just a sliver

Not in my opinion. Halo mmc is too OP with aim assist on controllers, to the point where pc players are using controllers. There isn balance and the aim assist in halo games is far to much, more than ANY game out right now and infinite must be competitive to the current environment. You can have a mouse and keyboard on xbox now

I’m not so sure. I’ve playing on controller since Halo CE and while I do agree that aim has become more challenging I wonder if its just a matter of getting used to it. I found myself missing a lot of shots in the beginning. The added challenge of ODST bot slayer has allowed me to polish my skills a bit more and my accuracy has significantly increased.

I’m not disagreeing, maybe a slight buff in aim assist would do the gameplay good. Just one of those things that we may feel differently about in time.

Aim assist on PC is too OP in perhaps Reach, I’d agree with you with you on that. But where Halo 3 is and this game is night and day, and no COD has FAR much more aim assist and always has. Plenty of games are the same.

Halo Infinite must be balanced and competitive, a even slight boost in aim assist to smoothen and improve the quality of aiming feel for console controller is a priority as the games #1 customers will be xbox users.

I’ve played MCC extensively, and I know plenty of actually decent playsrs that saw Halo 3 as balanced in terms of K&B and Controller. I’m not evsn asking for that specifically anyway, just a small buff.

Furthermore K&M being on console is irrelevant, there’s a difference between adding mouse support to a 20yr old game and making one with both in mind.

An Xbox game should prioritize xbox controllers, one should not have to switch to kb+m to be competitive.
Some guns definitely need more aim assist, the commando is borderline unusable on consoles
