More and more, I am getting into a lobby, the game is going to start, and then I get a the black loading screen going on and on with no end.

Please patch this; do not wait for the next update.

I don’t know how long this has been going on, but I have noticed an increased frequency in it occurring. Once it happens, I just lose my interest in playing Halo for the day.

I get this too. Mostly in the wz or wz assualt games. Are more people not having this problem? A quick search hasn’t gotten me very far and most people i play with dont seam to have the same frequency as i do with this. I have yet to find any solution to this or comment from 343 saying they are at least aware of it.

I get this problem too, but just wondering if the game never loads and you dashboard, does it count as quitting? Therefore is it likely that you will get a accidental ban?

Have you bought the Voices of War REQ pack? If so, try changing to the default announcer. This was happening to me also and this change fixed it. I have seen plenty of other players with the same issue when using a different announcer, seems like they are working on a fix.

Switch back to Sarah Palmer. There is currently a bug with the voices of war that causes you to have the long black loading screen. Spread the word.

Yeap… You get a DNF. This has been happening to me for weeks. Black screen wheel turning bottom left. I have to eject the disc and start the game over or reset the xbox. I’ve gotten more DNF’s this last month than I have all year.
