What do you think about this?
343 did say that Infinite is not the last game of the Reclaimer saga, so some stuff could probably be tied up in Infinite, but finished in a Halo 7. However… what’s really there to come after the Created threat?
Maybe I can see a war with these mysterious “meedler” creatures that have invaded Halo’s lore for so long and it’s still a weird mystery. Like, look at the Halo 3 map Cold Storage. There’s some info posted by Bungie back in the day that detailed species that were capable of HACKING into Forerunner technology. Like, before us, players, set foot on it, some other species have years before, like, way before any of the species we currently know developed space-faring technology.
The same goes for the ship that crashed in Alpha Halo. It’s no Forerunner nor Human or anything, really, otherwise Guilty Spark would have recognized it… but it can’t be the ship of modern Sangheili or San 'Shyuum because it’s still way too early for them to navigate in space.
Probably a better bet it to make games based on novels. I’m sure a game expanding on Contact Harvest would be awesome.
I would love to see a moment in halo where humanity springs back into the universe, colonize more planets, and on the frontier you steam roll the upcoming but hostile civilizations because you do that anyways in previous halo campaigns. Bringing forth the logistical background for major space naval fights, massive ground invasions, and new tech breakthroughs in humanities second golden age.

Covenant and prometheans for 2 straight games without any flood and u want them introduced at the end of the game? They gotta give us more then that
My predictions are that halo infinite concludes the Reclaimer saga we see a possible halo 7 that kicks off the start of a new saga with a new possible threat. In terms of spin offs we could see Halo odst 2, Halo wars 3, Maybe halo reach 2 and maybe a few new prequels on books like new blood which could be Halo odst 2 or even the fall of reach for halo reach 2 detailing Master chief and blue teams journey on reach. When we reach 2030 we may see the conclusion of the series as a whole with the possible death of Master chief or this new threat is defeated and our heroes live in peace forever with the spin offs acting as other pieces of the story. I would like to see halo 7 through 9 have blue team fight the banished with halo wars 3 and 7 through 9 merging together into one big story that would be cool. I would really like to see Blue team fight along side red team.

I agree, I think Infinite is the end of this story arc. With a new threat, I hope they actually bring in new species, expanding the fiction and opening up more opportunities. Something I hope they do for the end of the franchise is hold the Flood off until the endgame/final act of the series. Bringing back the final test for the Mantle.

I don’t want more Promethians, I think they’re terrible. I’m not sure about the story, I’ll be waiting for a month or two anyway. I liked the interview with Bonnie, she seemed very candid and she has the best for Halo at heart. I have rightly given her praise in other threads. However, one good interview does not change everything for me.
I’ll remain cautious but hopeful. As for the next ten years, that type of plan didn’t go well for Destiny, and Anthem has hit the skids already. I think 343i should make a great Halo Infinite first. The fans have had three average games, and Xbox in general has not had a GOTY for ages, we deserve a good game first and foremost, if they mess up Infinite they may not get another year let alone ten. Bonnie should not have mentioned ten years imo.
