I said it during the post launch after the BTB fiasco, and I’ll say it again… Halo Infinite is going down the same.path as Biowares Anthem game…
The majority of the content we are waiting on isn’t really new stuff it’s just day 1 stuff that’s late, Campaign Co op, Forge, File Share, a freaking report player in game was literally considered a huge feature coming in season 3…
None of this stuff is ground breaking, it more so feels like they are just trying to get this day 1 stuff out and it’s going to take a while year to do so. The store is basically repeats nothing truly new or ground breaking… The only real updates and hard focus seems to be the HCS stuff.
It really does seem like they are banking on Forge made content to essentially just hold the game off while they move on to making a new game.
Now 343 has stayed they aren’t making a new game but let’s be honest, they are not really all that Reliable in being honest. If anything they aren’t going to say oh yes we are leaving infinite behind too soon. That would be a horrible thing to announce this early, of anything they still need players to dump money into it.
Just remember this post in a few months when they announce a new project or leaks start to show more of that. And I finite becomes a On life Support service game
