I think both Halo Infinite and Halo 5 are disasters and shows that 343 dont know what the gamers want.
At least Halo 5 had the game modes we wanted, but lacked in content.
I feel like they both are spinoffs from Halo, Halo 4 was the last real Halo, at least in multiplayer. But that game also had som strange addons like jet pack and stuff but it still felt like Halo.
Halo 5s sprint and ground pound features might have destroyed that game, even though I learned to like the ground pound.
Infnite has no interesting game modes that keep me playing.
If I want big team I rather play Battlefield or COD.
If I want team slayer ranked I have to go back to Halo 5.

Doing the dirty work, so we donât have to.
I only watched the first trailer. I refuse to watch the show. I donât know if I can handle sinking any further into my Halo pit of despair.

Infinites main isue is a pure lack of content and a lack of service for a live servie game.
Game play wise and gunplay wise the game is solid, are there things I would tweak? absoultely.
That said this is the best playing halo game since H3.
Its just a shame there is nothing to do in it.
But this is 343i in a nutshell, they spend the majority of the last 10 years destroying what made haloâŚwellâŚhalo, and then when they finally right the ship and bring us back on course they give us a game that is more bare bones than h5 on launchâŚand worse than that no time frame to add in everything they âdidnât have time forâ

Yes, unfortunatly I think the game will be nearly compeltely dead by the time theyâve A fixed the issues and B given us a complete game

Halo Reach was the worst Halo because it didnât have BR! Also it had Sprint! Halo 4 was worse because it had Sprint by default and it made the BR sound dumb! Halo 5 was the worst worst because it had Sprint AND Thrust! Too much running! Stand still so I can shoot you with a BR!!!
Halo Infinite is garbage. They took Halo Reach and downgraded it with a dark corporate future Halo 4. From the perspective of people that play Halo for fun and to chill, this game is hypergeneric and removes all the core elements of a Halo game. Ranked players only care about having a 3 lane generic arena map with a BR and theyâre happy.
Casual Halo players want cool big maps with exciting weapons and wacky physics to goof around and have a fun time making memories with the crazy stuff that only happens in Halo. Infinite removed all of that stuff we loved. We want to hammer a warthog and go flying, then grenade up a wall and concussion rifle ourselves into the enemy base, and get an assassination or something crazy. We want to jump down from the third floor and kill someone, only to grav lift back up to a second floor and kill someone else. We want to make a tower of Spartans and climb on each otherâs heads to get up really high or invade the enemy base without them knowing. We want to have crazy CTF and BTB matches that always feel unique. Halo Infinite is BORING. Every match feels THE SAME. Infinite is THE WORST game since Halo 3. The challenges are further ruining the matches by encouraging people to not even play the mode correctly. Nobody in their right mind should be defending this game.

As I said the reason why infinites population has dropped off isnât becuase of gameplay, its becuase of sheer lack of content.
Its an unfinished game in an unfinished state and I personally petitioned to have the game delayed again by another year which was met with jeers and booâs from the majority of this forum, yetâŚhere we are.

I humbly accept the honor lol, and as a 20-year fan of halo got P+ just to watch how bad this trainwreck gets. itâs like the Hindenburg crash, mesmerizing in a horrifying way.

desync is an issue, a massive issue which is exacerbated by lack of player collision among other things
