Infinite is really boring cause of MTX

I’ve already bought/completed the 2 battle passes, now waiting for season 3. I demand a Reach credit system for Infinite so I can grind for the items I want. I don’t want to waste more of my money, and I don’t want microtransactions in the mcc. They obviously trying to get more money on mcc, we didn’t asked for this feature at all

Been there my friend, it is very frustrating i agree. i’m holding out hope that we see a sea of thieves type comeback. remember when that launched it was barren, but its a very decent game now and my go to for pirate games. i think halo will become that, i think that seasonal favorites for armor will become earnable… eventually. Frankly they have to revamp the entire customization system which cross core is beginning to do but like Sea of thieves its gonna be some time before the game becomes halo’s gold standard,… for now MCC is the definitive halo experience and they haven’t added mtx and i’m going to inject some hopium that they won’t add any or if they do it will be localized to the exchange where you can buy the unlock credits vs unlocking them normaly. that being said… ill keep a weary eye out for the main menu asking me for more money… Cautiously optimistic is what im going for. i think infinite will revamp the entire menu system like they did MCC. microsoft is known for slow rolling their long term ips…

The irony is there was supposed to be a way like this since they claimed content would mostly be earnable and only be earning it and yet there wasn’t. For me this was a major deal breaker for me too. Far as I’m concerned I paid full price for a game then half the game was ripped out. I feel like I spend most of my time playing other games since launch and occasionally reinstall to see if things get better but sadly not.

I’m not even sure what the future of Halo is anymore. Both MCC and Infinite are struggling and I’m finding it hard to be able to enjoy playing Halo games these days because of how the games are being managed these days since I’m either stuck with a game with low population or a game that is literally catered to a predatory store.
