What are you guys hoping for?
Whats the best thing you think they could have done in 5 years?
What are you expecting to succeed/fail?
I have a strong sense of cautious optimism coming into this game, which seems to be the general concensus foe the community as a whole. I’m so excited that the Banished have just finally been confirmed as enemies in this game and can’t wait to see what’s in store for us there. However, some parts of the marketing so far have pointed toward the idea that Chief and Cortana are going to be allys again and I don’t know how to feel about that. Cortana’s sacrifice in Halo 4 was so well done on my opinion and such a great character moment for both her and Chief and bringing her back and I’m worried that making her “good again” would be so disrespectful to her character, even more so than what happened with her in Halo 5. It depends on how they ultimately handle it I guess, but I’m not a huge fan of that concept as a whole. Overall though, I’m very excited about what’s in store for Halo Infinite and really want to see the game as a whole succeed in every way it can.
I just want to see how The Banished are going to be in the game. They have pretty cool designs and I think it will be interesting to see them. I also want 343 to surprise me. I’m so hype!

Just wondering, What advertising seems to have Cortana becoming good. I don’t think I’ve caught onto that, and I would love to know more?

It’s never been directly stated, but that scene at the end of Discover Hope made me think that, as well as people pointing out that Chief’s suit appears to have S.P.D.R. (I think that’s the acronym, apologies if I’m wrong) installed, shown during the boot-up sequence in that trailer. S.P.D.R. is a program made to repair damaged AI, from what I understand at least. That seems to point to him using this program to “fix” Cortana and put her back to normal. Maybe I’m reading too much into it, it’s too early to know for sure, but it just worries me a bit.
I am very excited to see the upcoming Halo Infinite. I am hoping that characters like Edward Buck, Jerome-092, Isabel, Arbiter, Ellen Anders, James Cutter, Chips Dubbo, Sergeant Stacker and ODST Troopers coming back in the new Halo video game.

Yeah! I’m so ready! the looks of the ODST’s is awesome but how the marines look in the trailer really reminds me of halo 2 AV and I love that look.
You have to understand that its just not Cortona anymore. Its all the AI’s that have joined her side as well. The only way to escape them is by using no technology.
- PLAYABLE ELITES********
- Classic movement
- Removed lootboxes
EDIT: HOW COULD I FORGET! - The return of the Sangheili’s designs from the trilogy and or Reach. The designs in 4 and 5 looks ugly, like an awful Elite/Brute hybrid. /EDIT

I wonder if playable Brutes will ever be a thing. It would be hard to implement fairly, but would be cool nonetheless

Cool, is that something from the books? just wondering, I don’t remember that from the games but I could have missed it.

That would also be cool.
