With a variable day and night cycle, it gives us different oppurtunities to attack enemies at different times of the day. Since this game seems to promote approaching enemy bases and fortifications however we want, whether it be direct-action or stealthy, I had a few ideas about neat ways players could approach their objective. First off, if it was night I would assume we could utilize NVD, and if we weren’t trying to be sneaky, toggle our headlamps. Now that we can also pick up fusion coils, perhaps a way to hide bodies so that we can prevent enemies from being alerted? (This would probably be pretty neat for someone trying to complete LASO or on higher difficulties) With that I also think it would be neat to have a toggle to see our assassinations in first person instead of third person if we wanted. (Extend that to driving vehicles, being a passenger, like Halo CE or when operating the vehicle’s weapons or detached turrets)
The last bit with vehicles I could live without, but I just thought I’d add that bit for a more immersive experience. Some features I’d even welcome as post-launch content. Appreciate the feedback!
I think it’d be cool having less alert enemies when it gets dark out.
