When does everyone think 343 will be releasing flights for infinite?
No word on that yet. I assume sometime in the Spring.
I think it starts Summer 2021. It just seems to make the most sense to me since people are out of school
I have no idea but I wait every day with baited breath

Spring or Summer’s my best guess too. I’m just glad Microsoft gave them the time they needed to finish the game instead of rushing them to get it done or “mostly kinda done” in time for the new console’s launch.

Probably earlier than that since they shouldn’t leave a beta test too close to a possible release date plus a lot of places are still under lockdown and it’s not safe to travel.
Its very doubtful flighting (the start, ring 1 etc…) would happen in winter (ends Feb 28th) and also doubtful it would happen in Summer (Jun-Aug). Both still possibilities. (Summer especially for later flights.)
My guess for confirmation of proper flighting (private, nda, and small scale) will be at the earliest, March. Latest is April. Full on open flighting (like the big MCC ones where) will be June/E3 time (again, my guess)
We just have to wait.
History tends to give us hints.
Halo 5 had a beta long before the game ever launched. Obviously with Infinite’s delay the timeline is a little off to compare directly.
If I had to guess we’ll probably see Flighting start around late March for a short period with a small user base and then get another larger scale flight around summer time. Possible another in September/October right before the game launches as a way of promoting the game and allowing people to get some hands on before launch.

I’m mainly concerned that leaving this too late may lead to irreversible changes that can’t or won’t be changed due to the game being too far into development since it means QA tests wouldn’t be given enough time to help dev’s make major changes in case the game needs an overhaul. I’m kind of concerned that the flights will be left so late that it will feel more like a demo instead of beta testing.
I’m hoping by spring. It would be very silly for 343 to wait and share more after summer again… The novelty and surprise factor is definitely gone by the 4th E3 showing lol. not to mention the sooner we get it, the sooner we can provide feedback. 343 waiting years to be somewhat vocal about infinite REALLY bit them and I hope they don’t make the same mistake on the flight + gameplay side.
