Inside Infinite mentioned flights starting soon for Infinite. Do we have an estimation of when it will start? Or how many people will be invited?
Hopefully a lot of people, large data pool to collect information from.
I’d imagine we’ll know more by or at E3. I know it’ll be mostly MP, but man I’d love a crack on some CO-OP campaign.
We should hopefully know within the next 2 or 3 months.
Can’t wait. Its been a while (exept for the grafics update)
I am very excited, I want to be one of those lucky ones because soon I will buy the xbox series x
I think it will be after E3 and I really hope to be one of the chosen for this Flighting. Can’t wait to try it out and see how it looks.
I think we won’t hear anything until E3. Towards the end of Halo’s E3 segment, someone from 343 will probably mention a Halo Infinite flight going live for Halo Insiders starting around end of June - July 1st (If I had to guess when it would start). The absolute latest they would start one would be August I’d imagine.

I hope you, myself, and a friend of mine all get in
Hello everybody. Apparently there are already people who are having access to some tests of Halo Infinite. I do not know if it will be true or not but it would be very good if little by little we have a first contact with this game

This is indeed correct, it’s been mentioned before in other places but 343 talked about it again the the last Inside Infinite blog

> - “We’ve been conducting external flights and playtesting with a very small external group representing a variety of backgrounds. Getting to see folks outside the company experience the game for the first time is a thrill. The feedback we’ve been getting has been heartening in many areas, and impactful in others. Seeing a turnaround in opinion based on changes is truly gratifying. Rest assured, now that we’ve gotten our feet wet over the last couple of months, we’re progressing towards expanding playtesting opportunities as soon as we can, so keep those Halo Insider profiles updated!” –Sam Hanshaw, Live Producer
Joseph Staten previously confirmed that a trailer showing the game with its graphical improvements would be released. Hopefully we can already have a first contact with it and enjoy in advance of the tests in which many have been fortunate enough to participate. The return of Master Chief is back and he deserves to do it with an excellent finish for PC and Xbox X Series.
I can’t wait! I’ve been dying to play this game for so very long!!!
I hope flighting starts just after E3 and I hope we get to play a small bit of the campaign like with the mcc flights.
This is the one flight I really really want in on, like I’m waiting so anxiously and hoping I can play the beta.
Most likely after E3. I think 343 would want as many players in the flight as possible to maximize the amount of feedback
Of course everyone is looking forwards to Flighting Halo Infinite. Patience is my advice. Sooner or later the test group will expand. I too am looking forwards to it. However, as a well experienced Microsoft Beta (yes Beta tester as it was called way before the term insider was used), I can tell you some things:
-
There is basically nothing you can do to improve your chances of being picked at any certain level of testing/flighting. They will pick who they pick period!
-
Don’t ever assume you have to have the latest, greatest testing platform to be picked. Backwards compatibility and very diverse testing scenarios are vitally important to a successful test/ flight!
-
This is not a time where the squeaky wheel gets the oil. Bug them too much, and I can guarantee you won’t be picked!
-
Experienced testers on a given type of product are the only one’s who have a “very slight” chance of being picked sooner. This doesn’t mean when you’re picked, post a bunch, it does mean professional Bug Reports, filling out surveys in a professional mature style, doing your best to test all features and find what problems exist, then properly assessing their severity being detail oriented in you troubleshooting steps, and always, always noting if the error/issue/bug/crash is reproducible are key to demonstrating you are indeed an experienced tester and more importantly a valuable asset to the product testing process.
-
Just because you tested say Microsoft Office for years, doesn’t in any way improve your chances for testing a new video game console that is going to be released in 3 years, or an INSIDE ONLY or LIMITED DEVELOPERS or ALPHA TEST of an upcoming game, piece of software different from Microsoft Office, or Operating System.
-
Carefully read each NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT and follow it 100 percent! This doesn’t mean in today’s terms “I won’t tell anyone else but my BFF!” Non-Disclosure is Non-Disclosure! Even the underaged can be sued for damages with the penalties made payable the first day they are no longer underaged!

Be a happy tester! No one wants to hear comments like “this is soooo lame”. The point to testing is to actually help improve the product you are testing. Not to just give you a “new toy”!
The amount of people chosen to test stuff has changed ever since microsoft switched to flighting, you have more chance on getting in on testing something now than you did years back when they did beta’s for for say, windows 7 and older. Back then you were extremely lucky to get to test a new windows release. Nowadays, not so much.
So you guys shouldn’t be that worried. Alpha, Beta and Early Access is quite common now in games and software.
I managed to get picked for the mcc flighting all the way back to the begining and still get flight emails about windows 10 which i don’t bother testing anymore as the features they keep adding don’t interest me.
Just sit tight and wait and make sure your insider profile is all filled out.
I’d imagine they’d announce it at E3. Would love nothing more than for them to say “It’s live now” as their part of the show closes.

Pretty much all of this
