Infinite Flight (Xbox) - Personal Recommendations

I have already submitted the faults that I founding playing the Halo Infinite flight. I have been admiring Halo since CE’s original launch date and still to this day, hold Halo as my highest ranking and most beloved series above anything else I have seen or played. The following are my personal recommendations that would improve both Infinite’s gameplay and overall experience, not necessarily faults:

  • When in the main menu training screen, you can’t see which map you have selected until you enter. Otherwise you need to always have to reselect the map so yo don’t load the wrong one by accident.
  • I would love to see a Mock-up Leader board for training with the scores going up. This way you can see how much the bots may be either winning/losing compared to your team. The leader board only resets when you exit to the main menu.
Why I see this as a very essential tool for training is so you can manage which weapons hold up better against different ranked bots. I had been played the spartan bots for two hours and was very interested to see how much they were winning by. The next time I return to the same training conditions, I can track myself over the following two hours to see if I have improved.
  • In Training, every time you go back to the training option settings it goes back to the default selection of the weapons, grenades and equipment, with a bot difficulty of marine. It should always stay on the one you currently have selected so you don’t have to constantly reset every to the same settings if you are only changing one variable.
  • The Font in the in-game name tag (identifying which player is which)… The ‘L’ & the ‘I’ can be extremely difficult to distinguish the difference at times of gameplay. I would suggest either using all Capitals or simply place more space between the bottom half of the ‘I’ and the dot so you can clearly see the difference between the letters.
  • I believe Plasma Pistol should attain the ability to have an EMF Pulse that powers down vehicles, similar to how the Dynamo grenade effect the vehicles. This is a iconic feature of the Plasma Pistol and when used correct can really turn the tides of the battlefield.
  • On Behemoth, in training, if you have the Grappleshot selected, upon any death, you will lose your equipment when you respawn. You have to reselect the Grappleshot again, but if you had any other equipment selected prior to dying you will still keep it when you respawn
  • On Behemoth, there is a hard barrier nearing the top of the forerunner structure and I believe that should be removed. If you have the ability to correctly time yourself and have enough Grappleshots in your inventory, I think a player should be ale to stand on top of the structure and not be stopped by a hard barrier
Again, these were only minor things that I believe would enhance the gameplay and the overall experience of Halo infinite at launch.

> I believe Plasma Pistol should attain the ability to have an EMF Pulse that powers down vehicles

I’m starting to have mixed feelings about this. I think I’d rather the PP drop the players’ shields in the Vehicle, or at the least, track the player you target better so shields can be dropped.

Any of the options would be a good step in the right direction. 100% I agree, they should beef up the player tracking at the least before the game’s launch.
