Recently, Tashi confirmed a Halo Infinite Esports event that will happen this year. This is huge because this confirms we will see major multiplayer info this summer, and actually see competitive gameplay before launch. I’m assuming this will be another one of their marketing techniques, but we’re going to get to see how this game plays before launch which is fantastic. He goes on to say more details about this event this summer. E3 is going to be huge this year for Halo Infinite, what do you guys think about this Esports event for Infinite and what are you looking forward to?

Are we sure this event is happening before release? I’m hearing that there are going to be many members participating beyond our very own, which could include Ninja and other creators too.

Can’t wait to spend an entire weekend watching Halo and seeing the top players get creative with a fresh, unexplored meta. Also, I hope to see some new contenders so it isn’t too predictable.

That was my initial thought as well, but I like this idea better. Considering the members that would participate have already been chosen, there really isn’t a need to wait until after release.

From the tweet I’m still assuming an actual event November/December with the summer reveal just being that - a reveal
