Infinite does not feel like a Halo Game

Halo has always been a very methodical game series, the TTK has always been high compared to every other popular shooter in the world. This time around though, it seems as if 343i has tried to make the TTK as short as possible, while still having the shield system, and I think that’s a travesty.

To preface, Halo Combat Evolved was the very first game I ever played, and since then it’s always been my favorite shooter, even the fourth and fifth entry in the series. I’ve always been good at these games, I constantly rank at the top of leader boards, and my KDR sits usually around 2.5 if not higher in Reach and Halo 4.

I say all of this because I’m not bad at these games, and yet I feel myself constantly dying within mere seconds of encountering an enemy.

You do not have time to respond to an enemy attacking you, like how you used be able to in other games in the series. If somebody sees you first, and shoots at you, you will more than likely die before you are able to respond to them, because of how short the TTK is.

I feel like I’m speaking into the void when I say this, but Halo Infinite is not a fun game for me to play because of this, and that’s incredibly disappointing for me. I see so many people talking about how the TTK needs to be shortened, and how killing people takes so long already, but if it were shortened any more than what it is right now, I will just drop the game.

I love this series, but this iteration isn’t for me.

The ttk is slow, 4 BR shots 3 to the body 1 to the head. If it was 3 BR headshots this game would be way better.

Nades are kinda nuts though, always thought 2 was too many on respawn it denies gunplay.

The BR has always taken 4 Shots to kill ever since its been in the game
