What an amazing feeling to unlock armor that you can’t use at an incredibly slow pace.
You can unlock barely anything without paying money, and why would I pay for the privilege of grinding for armor I already ground out a decade ago?
Just let me add individual pieces to a cart?
They messed up Carter’s chest piece anyways, it’s supposed to have a -Yoink!- pack.
Jun is messed up too. No shoulder knife or even the rib knife that was on his imitation armor. Plus a weird helmet handle.
Probably so they can sell the $10 chest knife in the store rn. Unfortunate.
It’s funny since they have a hip knife you can unlock. Why were knives left out of most of the reach armor? Probably like you said
Yeah, I noticed that on his armour kit. I don’t get why that’s been added.
Not to mention his cloak looks WAY too pristine. The tattered look was half the appeal.
I didn’t notice the handle on the helmet but I did notice the scarf looking brand new. Jun is supposed to have a rear pack too I think.
Check it out. It’s ugly and pointless. Just a convenient way for a brute to rip our heads off I guess
I definitely will later. Super bummed bros. What was 343 thinking?
Same thing they’ve been thinking for the last decade. “We’re gonna take something good and put our own twist on it.”
343i’s the final word of fixing what ain’t broke.
Plus now there is the corporate greed monetization aspect. Req packs were worse, somehow, though.
They should have let us import our reach/4/5 armor or something at least.
The handle on Jun’s helmet is actually one of bungie’s concept art for juns helmet, I guess 343 decided to added it back
I know, and there’s a reason bungie didn’t keep it.
It’s pointless and ugly.
Agreed! I personally think the battle passes could slide with me but the game should start off with more customization for free.
Season one being based on Reach seemed like fan service, but if they really wanted people to like the game, and wanted to build trust/give us a nice early surprise, they would’ve offered the first season for free.
Seeing armor unlock that you can’t use was an awful idea. All you should see unlock is stuff you can use but that would mostly be challenge swaps. Reach should have been free, or at least have a solid selection of free stuff.
