Halo 5 hasn’t had an update in a long time now. The best updates were always the ones with new weapons, such as the Halo 2 BR, gravity hammer, ce magnum etc.
I propose an update to include new weapons from halo infinite useable in custom games and warzone, and the mark 7 helmet that was also added to MCC Halo 4. Weapons like the mangler and skewer. Vehicles like the chopper. Brute inspired armors (technically the stalker is brute inspired). Also throwback weapons like the spiker and brute shot would be amazing. Maybe a mauler even.
Enough from me. Let’s hear what opinions or ideas the rest of the community has on the matter.
Whilst I would love all of these things 343i have made it very clear in the past that Halo 5 wouldn’t be getting any more major updates to the game.
The last update to the game was the “OverTime Update” which did some weapon balancing.
The only thing in Halo 5 that changes now is the weekly rotational playlists & the REQ store.
Got to wait for Infinite for such additions now.
They won’t be adding anything new to the game. They haven’t even patched out game breaking bugs in Warzone Firefight where bosses can get out of the levels and enemies don’t spawn, and that is the most popular game mode.
