Why are the female armor sets exactly the same as the male armor sets?
Exclusion of female armor and body types is sexist.

This thread will probably get locked bc they lock all threads talking about the body types (and there are 3 and all fairly androgynous), but

  1. I believe they outsourced all armor
  2. Modifying all armor to fit sizes means the hitboxes won’t match the body as well, giving the smaller aesthetic a tactical advantage

How come in legacy games I could see the difference between male and female Spartans?

Now we’re back to halo 3 where you can only change the voice…

I thought they said we’d have more customization options than ever before :-1:

In Halo Infinite, there doesn’t exist any pre defined male or female body types. It’s up for the player himself to decide if Body Type 0, 1 or 2 is considered as male, female, gender neutral or something else.

Something else that should be considered is that there doesn’t exist any explicit option to set the gender. This is the best option as it gives the maximum freedom to the player. On the other hand, it’s possible to do this implicitly through selecting player voice.

Either way males and females have genetic differences in muscle mass, not torso size alone :joy:

Imo it’s unfinished. The body types currently available are exclusively male. Sure it’s nice having more options for a male character, but anyone else who didn’t want to play as a male got shafted which isn’t a fair trade off.

You can do body types and change the voice ffs.

Idk why people are so bothered by a more feminine body type. Just look at spartan palmer. Larger chest armor, hips and skinny waist, beautiful woman under the helmet. If i want to imagine my spartan is a beautiful curvy woman am I not allowed that body because its sexist somehow??

Who said females have to be smaller? Also, in Reach and 5 the hitboxes weren’t any different at all.

Why cant they be? Small women exist, women with skinny waist and large hips and thighs exist.

They couldn’t even say which voice option is female. Am I supposed to figure it out myself?

Sims has had this voice feature for quite a while and a slider to make it lighter or deeper. I would assume the deeper voices are male and vice versa. It would be funny to have an elite, or grunt voice in the future

I thought it would’ve been cool if we had noble team’s voices… like in halo reach fire fight, where we could be Cortana and etc.

I like the voice options in infinite, they’re each unique. It shows me that they could put lore characters voices in there but they want it to be like “we’re the Spartan” so they’re like non lore character voices :sleepy:
