Why is there no infection!?!?!?!?!? I was so stoked to make and download other people’s infection maps it’s all I played on halo 3, 90% the reason I bought this was for infection. Yudothis
Yea they done -Yoinked!- it up in this sense. Probably why they were keeping quiet.

I guess I 'm just lucky that I don’t like Infection at all. Sucks for people who want to play it, though.

You seem to fail to understand that custom games will not survive without it. 90% of custom games use it as a base.

So much doom and gloom. Custom games will be just fine.
has anyone even tried to recreate an infection game type? You guys are expecting it to be there from the start but did anyone actually try to make it? probably not

Custom games are in such a bad shape right now. Almost every halo gametype is missing and we have less custom game options then halo ce. Gametypes and options shoulf have been there day 1 like every other halo game. If you bring it up people just tell you to stop complaining or we are going to get it for free in one of the updates so it’s not a big deal.
Can you switch teams during a custom game? If so, then you have infection. Not that hard imo

That’s an interesting assumption to make. Just because “90% of custom games” are based on Infection (I’ll just assume that’s correct for convenience) doesn’t mean I actually want to play most of those. Like I said: It’s unfortunate for people that enjoy that, but it’s far, far down on my wishlist of content updates. My H5 experience is not worse for its absence. I would much rather have Oddball, for example.

I still fail to see your logic. And I think you fail to see mine too. I do not want infection for matchmaking, though a playlist would be nice, I, and 99% of other Cartographers need it foe fun and creative versatile games. How do you expect to get: Get out of my house,my rash compactor, fat kid, dig to China, ghostbusters, zombie bridge, splatter monkey, speed halo, super happy fun ride, jump rope, etc… and so many map builders were looking forward to using those horror features too with infection to make survival horror maps. This is why we need it.
Here’s to hoping it’ll come out in January with Grifball.
We can only hope that 343 brings it to us in the January update… 343 please add Infection again!
I’m pretty sure that it will come, I mean there has been so much noise for Infection
