Infection

In Infection, last man should have unlimited grenades

Welcome to grenade spam central!

My advice would be to host a test lobby with that trait on and see how people react.

if that is how it was the last man would hide in a room and just keep on throwing grenades at the doorway. Its fun for the last man not the zombies

I don’t think this would play out well. The last man would be invincible pretty much.

I’d prefer they’d remove infinite ammo actually.

Nahhhh fam. no no no no no. infinite grenades would be OP but taking away the ammo would be detrimental to last man standing

I’d prefer it went back to the way it was where you had to conserve your ammo, where you could actually get put into a tight spot. Where you would be dead empty onammo and still manage to take out a zombie with a melee and feel like a god. You used to know that the swarm would almost always win and you had to be fantastic to overcome that. There was a worry that your teammate might shotgun you in the back for your ammo. That fear, that anticipation isn’t there in modern infection and in my opinion it is far worse for it.

Ya that would not work for obvious reasons.

I agree on removing infinite ammo. It feels out of place. I would say either remove infinite ammo, or the overshield, or both. Make that survivor scavenge his fallen brethren for ammo or find new weapons. I’m fed up with survivors parking themselves in the hardest-to-reach part of the map and thinking they’re 1337 or something. It leads to poor infection matches.

Those were the good days of infection. I feel like infection took a big downturn in Reach, with people exploiting the maps endlessly.

infinite splinter grenades :triumph:

Ahh but you see the melee vs sword is so much more difficult in H5 and the zombies didn’t move as quick I believe.

I still get the scary, worried feeling when I play sometimes when I’m last alive. but I do understand where you are coming from, i mean i feel the same way about other things in the game. It must be those nostalgia glasses we both wear haha.

I think they should remove unlimited ammo on the weapons you grab throughout the map, but if you keep a loadout weapon you get unlimited on that. No unlimited rockets or SAW, just shotgun and AR. Unlimited grenades would definitely be ridiculous though, way too OP.

Agreed. Then it Infection would be used for grinding to complete the Grenade commendation.
