Infection Update

I think to make Infection perfect… the humans should not have radar. It would add to the “scare” factor and the “HOLY SH*T”. Until you are the last man standing then you should get radar.

I agree it would add that necessary awareness and constantly checking behind you.

Hasn’t radar always been in infection though

I actually have no idea to be honest. I remember in halo 3 it did but I dont remember for halo 2. I think it would be a cool addition either way

Radar isn’t really all that helpful in the first place. The two Alpha Zombies are also invisible on the radar, so I don’t think it would be needed. You already have to constantly look behind you because of that. For me it’s good how it is.

Interesting, I didn’t even know that.

Right but usually it turns out to be this campy part at the beginning where the zombies will camp the “favorite” spot on the map. If they get a couple of them then it turns out to be an interesting game but if they fail then people just sit up posted and watching the radar for anybody coming in.

Infection was just a custom game in H2. So it was up to the lobby leader to decide whether or not to include it.

Shotguns, Swords, and honor rules… good times.

Until that one guy broke the rule

I think radar is necessary. There is so much noise from the maps that you cant even hear people coming sometimes so it is needed. One thing id like fixed is when you kill an infected to not also get infected. If I got the bulltrude then i killed him before he got me, still a lot of fun though.

I kind of stray from a large group and the radar tends to help me out quite a bit. Of course removing the radar would promote more team work

The removal of radar for humans is a great idea! I think it should remain for zombies if that is possible.

This isn’t really an argument for or against, but it also supports that the removal of radar for humans would be negligible at worst.

I think this is an engine thing (possibly), as trades happen more often in H5 than any other predecessor, meaning not an easy fix if possible.

Without radar you will force survivers to crouch in one angle of the map, now at least some spartans are going around trying to survive in different ways
