I was disappointed to hear Griffball is being removed as a playlist from Halo 4. I am concerned now that Infection will follow the same path.
I see Halo as a game where we have more freedoms than other shooters to choose how we want to play. Halo Reach was great offering a playlist for almost every gamemode.
I am concerned that 343i will remove infection from Matchmaking and I really hope they keep it. I think people should have more choice in how they enjoy their Matchmaking experience and unlitmatly how they want to experience Halo 4 versus mode.
I feel removing more playlists that allow players to enjoy the game they want to would be detrimental to Hslo and go against all the progress Bungie has made to captivate the community in various gamemodes.
Also, Infection is one of the most played game modes in Halo, you know why, it is fun and people want to have fun.
Also guys, if you don’t like infection or the playlist, DON’T PLAY IT, we have no right to say what is the wrong and right ways to enjoy Halo.
well as you know how Story will be implemented in MM 343 will most likely will have a community playlist containing games such as infection since it is a big concept in halo now
I love infection, I’ve played it more then any other playlist. But if it is anything like Reach’s infection, no thanks. Reach’s infection is horrible because being a zombie is horrible. If 343 gets rid of camping spots that make it so that only 8 zombies have a chance of getting a single guy, then I would be more then happy to see it return. But as it is with Reach, it would be a disaster.

Understandable, but my point is if people enjoy it, why shouldn’t they have a playlist?
That is like me saying because I hate big Team we should remove Big Team from halo 4 and all large maps.
See, isn’t that a little unreasonable and unfair to say?

When a playlist is abused so that no one can enjoy it, why would you bring it back so no one can enjoy it?

What are you talking about?
Infection is one of the largest and most popular playslits in Halo Reach.
I love playing infection, it is fun. I think that people should be allowed to enjoy and play whatever playlists they want.
Look pal, if you don’t like something, don’t play it.
> I enjoyed it more in Halo 3 because it felt like it was something special. You couldn’t play it anytime.

> I think Infection should have stayed that way. That’s just me tho.
I don’t follow you
Infection is the most played custom game in Halo 3 and Halo Reach.
It is by no means rare and it is evident in Reach and in halo 3 special events that people WANT to play infection.
Infection was a fun side-dish and a transformation from normal run and gun gameplay.
I believe that people should be able to play the game anyway they want.

Its going to be in the game they aren’t removing it there just might not be a playlist for it, if there was a way to stop abuse then sure, but if its better for the community as a whole to not have a dedicated playlist for it then that is what should be done.
I have to agree with Ken. The playlist was popular. Regardless the reasons of why people don’t like it, it would be stupid to cut something so popular.

wtf do you mean abuse?
If tons of people like it, why shouldn’t it be available to play? There are thousands who play it on Reach everyday so it is evident there is demand and a “fanbase” for it.

So boosters and campers should be able to play the game how they want? Because thats basicly what 90% of Living Dead players are.
