I love myself some infection. I’m not the type to go into the ‘spot’ that everyone goes to on every map to survive. Everyone dies within a minute or two in the ‘spot’ as every map has one.
So I find myself a nice corner, hunker down and let zombies run by, unaware of the white spartan in the dark corner.
Three survivors remain. Awesome, I might have last man. Wait, no… don’t do it. Here comes XxX420 blazeboyXxX wearing Emile’s armor. Followed by 2 zombies as he feels the need to come to me to live.
Please god. Why can’t people leave me alone. Why must people always feel the need to come to me like “hey, let’s survive together!” No, go away. You are the reason I die.
RantOver
This post isn’t calling out some guy named blaze boy, just a generic example of players.
That’s why I find my own non traditional path, usually very far away from the “spot”, there’s no way they’ll make to me alive by the time they realize they’re screwed, plus it catches zombies off guard for an easy kill.
Lmao blazeboy. I don’t normally play infection but when I do I change corners every one and a while to counter it. But it doesn’t always work
What’s stopping you from shooting the zombies chasing after random Emile armor guy?
Why not just get away from them. Also why are you wearing white armour if you want to hide in the dark? Lol
I like to move around in Infection. I don’t like to stick with other people, unless I’m playing with that person. I try to leave other lone survivers alone as well.

I kill them. But now he wants to stay with me in my corner and zombies know where I am, where as I was unbothered until he comes.
Sometimes I let them kill the person though.

Because if I don’t wear white than I have to wear red D:
Eh on most maps your character glows anyway hah.
If there’s someone in that “spot”, move away from them and hide elsewhere without making too much noise. From there, you just have to hope that the zombies find them and call up the whole gang to take them out.

Generally this works. Although sometimes I look at my radar and see a little yellow dot following me.
This guy was indeed wearing Emile’s armor, no joke, and had to follow me half way across the map. Until I died, and he was last man. Just following me. He died shortly after though, so if that wasn’t his plan for me to die. Kinda worked.

That’s why I just run away from everyone in the start and stay away from them.
He was just trying to be a team player. sticking with another survivor to help out.
I like having 1 other survivor with me watching the doorway that I’m not. Makes it way harder to flank and swarm 2 players. And allows for more hidey holes that are otherwise ineffective.
but most of the time I just go look for the alpha right off the start and let him kill me. I like being infected in halo 5 infection. So much fun. Way better than other infections.
I’m more annoyed at the people that refuse to play without climbing outside the map.
I’m a much better zombie than survivor, and my last few matches I’ve been slicing my way up to first place, only to be beaten by some guy that knows an exploit and none of the other zombies realise he won’t get many points if they just don’t rush him.
I’m more annoyed that Infection gives out huge amounts of XP, but playlists that have potentially long games like BTB for example hardly give out anything.
I think most people have a herd mentality so you have a better chance of surviving in numbers rather than by yourself which is why they won’t leave you alone.
I usually roam around the whole time. I can’t stand sitting in a corner all game personally. Maybe if I wanted to win I’d try something like that buy I rarely play infection and when I do I’m soaring lol

You’d probably lose playing like that since you get points for killing zombies and spartans unless you’re in one of those annoying spots on the map with a power weapon.

Except infection is a FFA game. There’s no reason to team up when the whole end goal is to (ideally) get 1st place. (Unless you’re boosting of course, which is highly frowned upon.)
If anything, try to avoid those “spots” like the plague and hunker down in a good corner when you’re last man standing.
At least give the infected a fair chance of getting you.
Cool story bro. What are we meant to do about it? My suggestion is find a spot where people can’t follow you. Like, learn a jump that gets you on a tower or something.
Typically I wear black so I will be unseen. Also, it’s quite easy to juke out teammates, you just have to know how to.
