INFECTION NEEDS VOICE CHAT BETWEEN TEAM

Infection is a great gametype so far but it’s missing the coordination, cooperation and social aspect of being able to communicate with your team. I can’t tell other survivors where the zombies are flanking from or where the good hiding spots are, I can’t tell my fellow zombies which way we should go to flank the last few survivors or where one of them are camping in a corner. But most importantly, I can’t make jokes to my team and no one gets to laugh at the survivors screaming and jumping out of their skin as they get attacked by zombies. It’s not fun, Infection was always addicting because every round felt like a mini-campaign. Survivors had to group together in fear and defiance against the infection while zombies took satisfaction in ripping apart human flesh and inflicting fear into the humans. I also met some of my closest online friends in Infection back in Reach. It is such an important feature that is critical to the Infection experience and I am disappointed every time I join Infection and find me talking to myself again. Please add Voice chat to Infection.

I second this and they should add game chat to FFA as well.

It’s nice to actually communicate whether it be trash talk or whatever but i forgot people nowadays get so easily offended and it’s not like people even use mics anymore but if they do it’s usually in party chat anyway. They should just remove all game chat haha

That’s a horrible idea. This isn’t a party game, man. There’s no split screen and you need communication or teamwork goes out the window. All gamemodes should at least have team chat for this purpose (and more).

I agree but they will not do it if they cant even fix the glitch spots on backwoods and others, but there are ways to do SOME of the things your saying without a mic(like if you see someone camping to get last man standing or at a spot, you can just go up to them and die or infect them, if you die, all the other zombies will go to them to infect them)

I know there’s ways of communicating without voicechat, I’ve been playing infection for quite a long time. The point of my post was that there are multiple reasons for adding voice chat, it’s not a single problem, the entire gamemode is lesser quality and less fun because you can’t talk to people.
