All arena modes are lacking desperately in RP distribution. I once played a 7 minute match of super fiesta and got 678 RP. That same day I played a match of warzone assault and got 1200 RP after a 6 minute match. Infection needs to be the mode that brings arena into relevancy with the RP system (especially since MoR is bringing in so many legendary REQs) and it also needs to bring with it double RP/XP weekends

Yeah the community has been asking for a double xp and rp for a while now but still nothing has been heard back about it
I could see double xp happening but I doubt double RP would happen as that would lessen the amount of people who buy them.
Instead of this, they should just make Arena gametypes 900-1000rp minimum per game… save for really short games (-5 minutes). That’s how it basically was when the game launched, but for some reason they cut our RP earnings to an abysmal amount for our hard work in 7-9 minute matches… and they wonder why people don’t want to play Arena.
I don’t think double is enough. How about quadruple? That would certainly get people playing.
Also it would make up for all the gold packs that only give two permanents, lessen the unholy grind that requires your soul. And for all the redundant armour I keep getting, please stop giving me pieces I already have a version of.
A 5 minute arena game gives me 1500 XP. A 20 minute WZ Match is 3600. Am I missing something?
arena isn’t for req points since you are not using reqs… warzone gives you more to compensate for the reqs you use.
I think that all arena gametypes should give at least 1,000 req points, so that it feels worth it to play.

He said RP as in req points/space cash for buying req packs.
You said XP presumably you meant experience points for leveling up.
I think just the double RP weekend would be fine infection never gave enough stuff in previous game as in reach not a lot of credits and 4 not a lot of XP they usually end quick

I never noticed that I get so little rp in arena match’s, yet again I always take so much time to get a silver pack.
BTB currently gives about anywhere from 1,000 to 1,300 RP points. Some times more with an RP boost. Though I guess that technically isn’t Arena.
Arena shouldn’t surpass Warzone in being rewarded RP. You’re playing on average a twenty minute game with twenty four players calling in power weapons and vehicles as they try to get to the goal of a thousand points through killing enemy players or the AI on the field. Or doing the same thing without the AI and trying to destroy the core depending on the gametype.
Arena you’re playing a mixture of gamemodes that all take an average of eleven minutes with eight players trying to kill the enemy or complete a certain objective to win on maps where power weapons must be fought over and vehicles don’t exist outside of BTB.
While Arena, especially the social modes like Grifball and Fiesta, could use a slight buff in the RP rewards, going over a thousand seems a little overboard.
An average Arena match for me gives anything between 700 and 1,000 RP points without using a boost, or one lower than rare at least.
An average Warzone match gives me anywhere between 1,200 and 1,800 RP points, again without boosts, or at least those with low rarity.
I think the current reward for Arena is fine. You get about 3/4 the RP needed to get a bronze pack while BTB/Warzone can get you a bronze pack after one game.
Infection should give about the same as an average Arena match, maybe a little more.

I disagree, generally arena games won’t last long, hence why they give out less exp and rp. Warzone gives more because they generally last longer. Jusging by infections setup they were 3 minute rounds and only 4 rounds if I remember correctly, it may be equivalent to a 10 minute warzone match.
It will probably be featured for awhile so at least some extra XP will come from that.

A six minute Warzone assault gives out more RP than 8 minutes of arena.
Arene needs just a 15% or so increase to RP gain AND needs to hit the max threshold faster so that shortens matches aren’t punished.
