So I’ve been playing infection to see what I think of it.
343, It’s good…
But the maps, are awful.
Tunnels with 1 way in are awful.
You get 1-6 people sat in them that you can’t kill due to map design…
It’s awkward, it’s not fun…it takes no skill…
Why?
I hate this about infection.
Ever played Reach? It’s always been like that. Disagree? Launch up Reach from backwards compatibility or on the 360 and you’ll see.

But in Halo 5 there’s a wealth of power weapons too which makes the camping even more effective.

You get a hand full of bullets so it evens it out on a front. I reckon they should remove the op DMR and SAW from the Infection maps.

Some of the maps could be designed better, though. It seems the remade Infection maps by Unyshek are pretty good (there are a few exploits though) but PI484 (one way tunnels), The Crypt (open view vertical stone structures), and Black Friday ( one way atrium, staircase of impenetrability) have a few design flaws that make surviving way easier than it should be, regardless of power weapons. It is mostly small, simple fixes.
Your title is a little misleading - Infection isn’t broken, it’s just that you have an issue with the maps in rotation. I believe that some of the map creators have topics in this forum, if you had any feedback on what you think would help make them better then that would be good to post. Simply saying things are “broken” or “aweful” doesn’t really help anyone understand what the issues are. Try an be a bit more verbose with your feedback

Verbose - using or expressed in more words than are needed
the infected visual effect strongly clashes with colored lights needs to be fix or changed?. any colored lights and filters use in any forge made infection map is highly affected by the green visual effect that the infected have changing most colors to an undesired color .eg. orange is turned to a light pink, this also make fire fx pink… this effect creates an undesired color that can not be compromised with and should be fix or removed. for any standard forged infection map with strong lighting to have its quality downgraded greatly from an unnecessary effect is unacceptable.

I’ve had no issues with that. As for infection, the infected’s default movement speed is that of a regular player, they are seriously underpowered against all of the weapons due to lack of proper speed to dodge. And yes, a lot of these maps have design flaws, I made one myself to hopefully get put into matchmaking once I test it properly. The map is relatively small and balanced.
All of these issues with the humans being overpowered, yet in the majority of games, the humans all die… Sounds like its working just fine.
